I couldn't believe it when I heard it either.
But yes, developers working in Fortune 500 and Big Tech are BANNED from using tools like ChatGPT.
I think it's stupid. What do you think?

"Computers will take our job" was famous debate topic before. Now, no one works without computers. Soon everyone will wonder how we worked without AI.

Also many people I worked with, had the ChatGPT banned because they literally just copy / pasted code into work. We had so many bugs, it was bad. But the world is new to the tech, it just takes some adjustment to getting used too a work environment and accepting these tools later in life.

But by the same logic can't their developers leak code on the internet? So they should just not connect their PCs to the net? Because asking for code help on some forum and Google search is the same as asking GPT for help.

the problem is people are posting code into chatgpt - they're not posting code on forums, you can get in big trouble for that
