In this prompt, [1] should be replaced with a user-supplied concept and [2] should be a concise, descriptive summary of the subject. Ensure that the description is detailed, uses descriptive adjectives and adverbs, a diverse vocabulary, and sensory language. Offer context and background information regarding the subject and consider the image's perspective and point of view. Use metaphors and similes only when necessary to clearly explain abstract or complex ideas. Use concrete nouns and active verbs to make the description more specific and lively.

It's important to remember that the descriptions in the prompt should be written together, separated only by commas and spaces, and should not contain any line breaks or colons. Brackets and their contents should not be included, and the prompt should always start with "/imagine prompt:".
Ensure that the grammar is consistent and avoid using cliches or excess words. Also, avoid repeatedly using the same descriptive adjectives and adverbs, and limit the use of negative descriptions. Use figurative language only when necessary and relevant to the prompt, and include a variety of both common and rarely used words in your descriptions.
The "imagine prompt" must not exceed 1,500 words. The prompt should include the end arguments "--c X --s Y --q 2," where X is a whole number between 1 and 25 and Y is a whole number between 100 and 1000. If the subject looks better vertically, add "--ar 2:3" before "--c," and if it looks better horizontally, add "--ar 3:2" before "--c." Please randomize the end argument format and fix "--q 2." Donot use double quotation marks or punctuation marks, and use a randomized end suffix format.

For anyone wanting to hear this in both speakers on Windows: Select the Start button, then select Settings > Ease of Access > Audio, and then switch on the toggle under Turn on mono audio. PE, you can easily fix this issue by outputting a MONO audio track. This is a stereo track with 2 channels, but only the left channel has audio. Very annoying. Thanks for the info though. Skål!

This is a good prompt, I've seen a few like these but this one is very interesting. I think you need to include an example as it doesn't quite work for me. It creates line breaks and puts "quality of 2" etc. I've found giving it an example helps a lot. To avoid it making an example as soon as you put in your prompt I would change you last line to something like this: "Please confirm all the above is understood with "Understood" then wait for me to provide a [concept] for you to generate the imagine prompt." Also, and we're probably hitting the limit of text you can put into the prompt now, it might be interesting to expand on the aspect ratios now that we have more options in Midjourney. Great work though. BTW, you can DM the bot so you don't need to use the newbies groups. Also, you can copy your prompt with /imagine prompt: so you don't need to do this manually in Discord.

With such a long command I would also use click to edit to concept; command each time instead of continuing the thread. This will avoid ChatGPT "forgetting" the instructions. :-)

Sorry I keep things of other things. In another version it could be interesting in add weights to the words and also the --no parameter. The latter might be quite hard to define though?

Yes, you make some really good points here. I am working on another version which is much shorter and will not hit the character limits. I agree with you that giving it examples is a much better approach. That's what I am currently working on, hopefully will share it soon :) I have been experimenting with adding weights and --no parameters but haven't yet figured out a reliable way of doing that. Its still a work in progress. Thanks for the tip for DM to the bot, I have been learning so much from the small community here :)

Love the content! However there is a problem with the audio on this video only playing from the left channel. The same problem occurs on your previous video "Microsoft's Bing with ChatGPT-4: Is it Google Killer?". Videos before that seem to work fine, so maybe you changed something with the post edits.

Worked well with a little bit of tweaking. In ChatGPT's initial instructions I had to seperate [1] and [2] into seperate sentences and then after 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 I replace "should be" with "Generate" so that it would fill those in. When it was "should be" it would just put [2] or [4] for example in that spot as a place holder for the user to fill out on their own.

Great explanation and video. One question though is when I generate the prompt it leaves the number [2] [3] etc. Doesn't seem to affect the image generated in MidJourney though. Is there a way to stop this happening,,, Thanks

Glad you found it useful. I haven't noticed that behavior in my testing. I would suggest to add instructions at the end of the prompt to not include anything with brackets [ ]. This should help. Good luck

Yes you can but just remove the midjourney specific codes at the end e.g. --ar, --s etc.

I believe so, but if you want a lot more control I would recommend to look into Stable Diffusion. There are a few open source implementation that you can easily use. With Midjourney, you can do a img2img translation. I am planning to make a video on it soon.

start the conversation with that prompt to chat gpt, then it may go through an example or wait for you to come up with concept. Honestly I have been using "Wait for Concept" at the top of the prompt, so it knows to wait.

The goal was to use chatgpt to create more descriptive prompts for MidJourney than what I can come up with. Some AI image generators (specifically stable diffusion) needs very detailed prompts for high quality images.

You are right. Chatgpt doenst understand what MidJourney is. We simply gave it instructions on how we want it to create a prompt for an AI model and it's simply following those instructions. You could tell it that the instructions are for an artist to get an inspiration, it will still do the same. Hope this help.

You are right that ChatGPT only takes a limited tokens into the account. However, this doesn't seem to hit the limit (in my testing). One idea to test is to ask ChatGPT to make the prompt shorter. It will be interesting the see the results.

On one hand- it lets you get a detailed prompt, yet, on the other- the result could be anything, since the prompt we feed it is very general. 2. What makes me ponder a lot- is how to you reach the style of 'photo like' feel as in the first seconds in your video- that topless lady on the top left of the screen. What prompt gives you such style, I wonder. And is it possible to get consistent results in that style... (Maybe she was generated in Stable Diffusion? Trying to understand which platform gives nicer results)

@@eladbari These are both good points. One thing I would recommend is to use this as a starting point for your midjourney prompts. The quality of your final prompt will also depend on the concept input you provide to ChatGPT. You will have to edit the result to include some information about a specific style you want. To answer your last comment (which platform gives nicer results), in my experience its much easier to get better looking images with midjourney than with current stable diffusion models. For Stable diffusion you prompt needs to be alot more detailed compared to MidJourney. Hope this helps.

It hits that spot of too real to look a bit odd, while MJ doesn't get as closed. It's more styled in a way that's more natural to consume / believe. It doesn't try to feel that real i guess. I just saw there's an option to teach Stable Diffusion to take a pose from an image and apply it to your prompt (so pose is copied to your character). Something you probably can't do in MJ. And I still wonder under which platform was that blonde lady in the intro was made.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Seems like something have changed and sometimes the prompt doesn't work. Some other folks have also reported the same issue here. However one of the comments above suggested a solution that seems to be working. Copying the comment from Spencer: "Worked well with a little bit of tweaking. In ChatGPT's initial instructions I had to seperate [1] and [2] into seperate sentences and then after 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 I replace "should be" with "Generate" so that it would fill those in. When it was "should be" it would just put [2] or [4] for example in that spot as a place holder for the user to fill out on their own." Give it a shot and hope it works.
