00:00 🖌️ The challenge in Midjourney is generating consistent characters across different scenes. 00:29 🚫 No need for Photoshop or Dream Booth model; the method is entirely within Midjourney. 00:43 🌟 Learn to seamlessly insert character "Elara" into any scene regardless of pose, lighting, or composition. 01:38 📝 Writing a simple description as a prompt is sufficient for generating characters. 02:58 ✂️ Use Very Region to erase and modify character parts for better integration. 04:07 🔄 Combine image and text prompts for precise character generation. 05:24 🌈 Consistency lies in key features like chin shape, eye color, and nose size. 06:15 🔄 The method can be applied to any character style or genre. 08:07 🖼️ Create a character design sheet for reference in different poses and styles. 09:32 🌌 Use image prompts to shift character into new settings or scenarios. 11:48 🧐 Fine-tune features like eyes, mouth, nose, and ears for consistency. 15:54 🛠️ Iteration and fine-tuning lead to a consistent and versatile character.

I can't thank you enough, finally great detailed advanced videos! I've been struggling with consistency juggling between /blends, using photoshop and back in, etc. This set up is worth it for the longer projects. Thanks again. What drives me a bit nuts is how MJ wants to constantly have the character look directly into "the camera", so 99% of images look like great rendered portraits. Getting consistent different angles would be amazing. Any tips?!

TIP: if you want photo realism character sheets instead of animated, writing a variation of this works: A series of photos of a young woman in various poses, showcasing the same person but in slightly different ways. The woman is [insert description of character]. Once you generate a few times, you'll find a very realistic depiction of what you want, scale and generate variations from there and boom, you have the necessary photos you need to either use as is or save as a model reference.

The issue I have with vary region is that everytime I use it the results are horrible, most of the time eyes will have different size for no reason, other times one eye will look one way and the other eye the other, other times eyes will not look anything like the reference, when changing the face the same will happen, gigantic heads, weird shaped heads, etc same issue for most features, I tried describing the eyes only, mentioning the eyes only, adding the style from the original prompt, removing the style from the original prompt, etc. Maybe it's because I'm using it for 2d images but it's not been fun.

This is great advise. What I’ve been frustrated about is consistency. Now, how do you do the same with clothing and shoes? These Ai tools can’t be used in visual storytelling unless you get the same result every time. The randomness makes it hard for me to use this, but thanks to videos like this, I’m learning more and more. Thank you. 🙏🏾😊

I really enjoyed this video, just like all the others. Thank you so much. I've got a problem. I've managed to consistently achieve the same design and that's ok. The only thing is, the character always stands upright, and I can't put it in other positions. What I'd really like is for it to be photographed in various poses and angles. I'm concerned that the photos in the options, always in a standing position, might negatively impact the new edits. How do I work around this?

First, thanks for your great tutorial videos! So very helpful. But I ran into some troubles, and I would really appreciate it if you could offer some more advice. I created a character model, following your workflow by the letter, after I started creating scenes and trying to insert my --character into it using vary region, again just like you said to do, BUT often midjourney just doesn't insert my character at all. It even deletes the previous character and inserts nothing...fills the selected region with background....or weird body parts instead of a whole body. Any insights?
@glibatree
@glibatree 4 ай бұрын
For this I try to leave little pieces of my character's frame outside of my selection. (Like a bit of the arm, some hair, maybe the nose) That way, since it knows where the arm is, which way the nose is pointing etc, it can place the character where I want then in the pose I want it in. Other than that I would need to see the prompt you created, though I don't think KZbin lets you, so you might want to join the discord and someone there can give more specific help

@glibatree

Yeah I would probably change the prompt to generate the grid to something like this: /imagine prompt:A 3D Rendered cartoon style grid of a __________________ as see from many angles. Same object front, side, top, isometric, and everything in between. Then see if following the same procedure otherwise works for you

I met an issue on MJ, every time I tried to ask him/her to paint a character's multiple expressions and poses, he/she always gave me one expression/pose with 4 angles rotation. Which actually blocking me from gathering more expressions and poses for same character to "/prefer option set", I actually tried, but with limited expression the result of locking same character is not good.

Hi man, great video!! Question; At 10;48 min you say copy this right here... It's a bit small on the computer...What exactly are you copying? The /prefer option set altogether, the urls one by one? Do we have to create a new /prefer option set? Are you just copying and pasting the '--Purpo' in reference and changing the prompt to a more realistic photo? I got the fact that the 'realistic' part will come from the new prompt, I just wonder what I need to give it before that. If I need to re-create a new prefer option set or just the ref name of the character --(name of character that points to the option set)? Thank you for your help! ;))
