Круче чем чарльз бронсон,в 70г в голивуде не было,актер действительно звезда,настоящий мужик,и в жизни в не экрана ,дрался и многим давал пи.дюлей,,по взрослому,молодчина.

No horses were killed o harmed. The stunts were done by trained horses a ND stunt riders.

Chato's defense expertise was guerrilla warfare. Destroying the enemy 1 or 2 at a time as well as their horses will rapidly demoralize and weaken the enemy until the few remaining will either chicken out or be plucked from existence like asphalt weeds. No jodas con Chato.

I wonder how many horses were killed making the film..my respect for all concerned has dwindled. Cruelty to animals for profit is unforgivable.

What I know is that there are filmmaking tricks that involve using trained horses to make it look like they have actually fallen down, or by hooking the horse's legs with wire or something like that to knock it down. I don't know if that technique was used in this movie, but I think animal abuse in the movie was carefully considered.
