Absolutely spot on. I have this tool as well and you highlight the only weakness I have noticed. It is a small range of its use that was disappointing, but you don’t want a tool that is such a winner everywhere else to come up shy there.

Great review, Tony!...I just ordered the new version even though I have Gen 1. The belt hook is definitely a major reason for my decision. This past summer I had to add screws to the fascia on my log home. No belt hook was a bummer when on an extension ladder...lol...new sub....Thanks!...Paul

Hi Tony! I enjoyed your video. Question for you: I already have the SwitchDriver version 1 and have no issues with it besides the light on the drill going out. How much better is the version 2, compared to the original? I'm considering buying it, but still on the fence.

I'm going to do a review video on it soon. To be honest, I have a need for a very good torque clutch and while the new one I think is easier to use, it lacks "very good" torque settings. I do a lot of furniture assembly, so being able to stop flush is extremely important to me. This ain't it. Other than that, in regular work, I like it better than the original. Don't regret buying it.

@Tony Sandoval Thank you for responding! Have you seen or heard about 18/20v battery adapters that would work with the SwitchDriver?

@@A_Based_Entity Hi there!...yes they are available on Ebay. I just purchased one to run Milwaukee M18 batteries on the 6 pin Worx platform

Not something I would try with it.
