I completely relate to your experience with anti-anxiety meds/antidepressants! Motherhood is when I realized I really needed some extra help as well. And the intrusive, reeling thoughts were so constant. I remember when I first started taking meds and realizing the thoughts were gone. It was such a relief and allowed me to be more present with my kids! Thanks for being open with your journey ❤

I would totally agree with you on the hard parts of going from 1-2, especially what Riley said about being able to depend on the first child’s nap for a break and that being gone with the second child. We’re in the thick of that right now so I’m feeling that extra hard right now!

I just had my third baby and I think my youngest two are about the same age gap as Nora and Colin…the baby was born 3 weeks shy of my toddler’s second birthday. He’s about 2.5 months old now, and I can’t BELIEVE how difficult it is! My oldest two have a huge age gap, so that transition was not as hard. Hearing you talk about how much you love it now that they’re older gives me hope 😁. I keep picturing them in two years playing together, and it helps me get through those days where I feel like I’m barely making it 😰

I just treated myself to a few new shirts from your shop! Can’t wait for them to get here. Hm, something I regretted spending money on, let me think. When my sister had my oldest niece, I got the cutest little Peter Rabbit gift set from Barnes and Noble which came with a book, a small stuffy, and a super cute Peter Rabbit onesie with a cotton tail sewn on. However when my sister opened the actual packaging after the baby shower, the onesie absolutely REEKED of fish, similar to those trees in the springtime that smell like fish. Needless to say that onesie did not go on my baby niece lol.

You look great! Transportation is easy at Disneyland, especially from Dallas. Just fly into SNA and it’s a quick Uber. If not staying on property just walk or use the ART buses.

Yes we are flying into SNA! The issue we're having is transport that includes reliable carseats. Otherwise we have to bring carseats only for the short drive to/from the airport which is a bit of a nuisance

Ah, Disneyland! Hubby and I had to cancel/reschedule our trip four times. Hoping to get there this year. We love the history at DLR. Taylor Swift...I dunno...I'm burned out on her. She's like 35, getting older, and still sings/writes songs from an older teenager's perspective. it's kind of weird. And sad IMO. I hope she flips to switch to adulthood soon, for her sake.
