I have noticed that when my garden pots or beds are dry, creatures like to dig and rummage through them. With your garden beds, they need to always be moist, it may help keep the chickens from bathing in it.

There's a fencing called chicken wire. It has smaller holes. Put that up around your raised beds to keeps the girls out.

I always water from the bottom or use the soaker hose and on hot days i cover with garden netting over the plants if its going to be 90 degrees AND water real early or late. If you don’t fence your garden its a losing battle with the chickens

Isn't it dumb that other actions affect ours now when it comes to honesty and integrity, and they ruin it for all of us? I hate that when it comes to many common decency stuff and customer service, ughh. "I squeezed ya too hard, huh?" Too funny! So enjoy your mostly relaxing channel. Those chickens and your kale! You need some veggie cages to keep them out of them. I use a Greenstalk for some of my lettuces and kale so the bunnies, squirrels and some birds won't get them. Amazon and Gardener's supply have those chicken wire veggie cloches that should help until the kale gets too big. Your tomatoes will be okay. Mine here in the DFW area of Texas are already going crazy with fruit. We just need less rain now to make them ripen to yellow and red.

You could buy a shade sail house structure to go over your whole bed you should be able to get ones that will fit over the tomatoes and every thing. It will keep the bugs that eat your tomatos away and will protect your beda from your chickens. But is will let the aun through. Or you'll just have to make a new door out of their enclosure that goes out to the grass and fence of the entry way into your garden. You can also grab an old tire and fill that with soil in their enclosure for them to dirt bath in.

We have been getting lot's of rain here, haven't been able to cut the grass because of the rain but at least the gardens are getting a good drink, I'm worried about my raspberry bushes hope they are OK they took a beating in the winter with all the snow and cold and high winds so I'm hoping they are OK, same goes for my strawberries, I planted potatoes a few weeks ago I can't wait till they are all ready awhile from now lol fresh potatoes from the garden are so good. Chickens are naughty tho many folks don't realize that. You're definitely on the right track with the impromptu fencing. If you want to keep allowing the chickies to roam, you'll need to either get a tighter metal fencing or attach some chicken wire to the wire fencing you just installed. Suggestion, leave the fence up, but put chicken wire around that, they won't be able to get into the Kale garden. It can be a pain in the butt, but it will save your from replanting all the time.

Lauren, you need to place flexible fencing around your plant beds. It is rubber and all you need are a pole in each corner and attach it. All your hard work is being munched away....OR clip the wings of your feathered friends🤔 it's your garden...but it's alot of time and $$$

Yes, castor oil is a natural wonder. It will help your eyebrows grow back (have patience). Also it is the best make up remover, and moisturizer. You can stop buying 90% of beauty products and just use castor oil. I have been using it for years.
