Yes, would love to see a pantry organize & declutter video ❤👍 I would definitely leave the dinning table for Christmas. It will look stunning once you decorate it. I would put the other tree where you had the large Santa & put Santa on the front porch. I'm sure all the neighborhood children would really enjoy that 😊

I also agree with one of the comments. Maybe convert your family room iff the kitchen to a formal dining room. It would look beautiful and then take out the round table in the little nook and make it a cozy little area for the family
@BethKibby16 ай бұрын
The chickens are hilarious. Just so you know, eggs are laid with a protective coating. They last a long time out and about unless they are washed. You can float test the eggs to see if they are still good. Just fill a big bowl with water and add the eggs. The fresh ones lay on the bottom of the bowl. The ones ready for hard boiling raise up a little, but an end stays on the bottom. And the ones that float are compost. Of course now that the eggs have been in water the good ones will need to be refrigerated. Good luck with all the garden plans. It is always an exciting time of year. Here in the Chicago suburbs our nights are still too cold to get the tomatoes and peppers in the ground. I have to wheel them in and out of the garage every day. High maintenance little divas!

My #1 must for meals is planning. I write meals out for an entire month (they can be moved around) but I know what ingredients to buy in advance and I also know what to thaw out of the freezer etc. I sit down with my calendar so I know what nights need to be quick and easy meals and what nights I can spend more time on.

You shouldn’t spray the plants all over. A deep watering is what helps the roots grow , if you’re just spraying the whole plant it’s not getting a full water. With your hot weather it dries out in hours. Deep water 3 times a week, you’ll be amazed what that does. I’ve been gardening for 30 years. Give it a try please. Dorene Weiss
@debbiegordon76226 ай бұрын
I agree .My grandparents always told me to water early morning before sun comes up and when sun goes down and to never hise them on top like you said to spray them on the bottom because when sun comes out the sun burns the leaves..so i always water that way

So love your chickie kids! Happy Mother's Day! Chickens on outdoor farms do lay eggs everywhere in & under trees, bushes so they should be ok. It is in there natural instinct to do this. You have to ensure you get them asap as they will sit on it & hatch. 🐣💐

I’m in full summer in Florida. I stay inspired by you. It’s so weird that I can watch you and I feel more focused. It’s like a good role model relationship. You keep me organized. I have tried several of your ideas. We are decorated for summer. I grow a garden year around. For meals. I try to make out 3-4 meals a week for dinner. I do a lot of veggie and ingredient prep and sometimes we use hello fresh a couple times a week. I work in the evening so I try to prep everything before I goto work. Or it’s on the stove.

I enjoy your videos, Lauren. I like to keep my summertime meals light and fresh. My favorites are homemade chicken salad in coconut wraps (thrive market), anything grilled, lots of watermelon/cantaloupe, and tzatziki (w/ greek yogurt and fresh dill) on literally anything! As for the outdoor stuff.. the eggs aren't necessarily bad yet. I've never seen anyone use the yolk in their garden before but eggshells help keep pests/bugs out, especially tomato plants. Maybe just keep one tree and the dining table. Hope you have a great summer! I'm ready for it too!! ☀️

Just a tip on tomatoes. Snip off the lower branches as they grow. And try not to get the leaves wet. They can develop blight.

I think that the large Christmas trees were a magical dream in your living room.. they created such a beautiful, magical and welcoming atmosphere with the fireplace in the centre, the sofas and armchairs.. the staircase all decorated.. it was wonderful.. this year it will still be more spectacular with the bookcase.. I would keep the formal table but move it to the kitchen.. Have you ever thought of creating a wonderful dining room instead of the living room you have in the kitchen...? And then create a small relaxing area with sofas in the corner where you have the round dining table, for aperitifs, with the liquor trolley etc? In such a way as to have a wonderful welcoming, spacious and relaxing living room with only sofas, armchairs, fireplace and bookcase.. And a wonderful separate area for everything else.. imagine a nice dinner, with the relaxation corner as an aperitif area.. The kitchen, full of foods, with the island as a buffet area, an important decorated dining table and with the warmth of the fireplace as a backdrop... I find it a very beautiful, elegant and welcoming idea... I have been following you with affection for years, kisses from Italy

Lauren tomatoe plants do not like getting their leaves wet with watering. Myself had a master Gardner suggest watering with one of this long wand attachments so you just water from the roots or around all of your plants to avoid issues. Rain water is the only natural exception to top watering. Just a suggestion. Have a great Summer! Here in the Northeast wind and rain continues. But the GARDEN. Must survive!

Loved watching as always. I couldn't believe it when you were in the Chicken pen, all those eggs, your chickens are bonkers, but oh so cute. Over in England we only decorate at Christmas by really using one Christmas tree, so how about you only use one of them in the front room this year. It might actually look better now you have that big built-in bookcase as well, you could try it,if you don't like it, just put the other one up as well. My husband is looking for new mattress, so I will look in to the Helix ones, see what we can get over here. See you later. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾💖
