Not necessarily a "Strengthening" base coat, but Zoya's Anchor has been my go to! I swear it keeps my mani's on the longest when I pair it with Essie's Gel Couture top coat. Mavala Scientifique nail treatment is an INSTANT nail hardener if it's strength you're looking for without the hassle of applying overlays.

Hello, Amanda…. Love your nails. I have short nails, like yours. I just filed mine in a square, very short. I actually am planning on painting them later today. I am thinking of painting them with the color red rock, from Orly. I love the dark colors for fall as well. Thank you for sharing.

I have 2 kiddos, and maintaining the nails is a STRUGGLE. Between diaper changes, baths, dishes, spill clean ups, water play, outdoor adventures etc etc etc, the hands and nails taking a huge beating. I have been on the longest journey ever and am trying to be so patient but I've fallen into a hole of getting Gel-X manicures which I have vowed myself to break after my current set and have good growth by the holidays too! Hang in there and just keep doing what you can.

The base coat I've been using and loving lately is KUR - Get Well Nail Recovery....I highly recommend it! Does the Glisten & Glow have good longevity? I'm looking for something that dries quickly AND helps the color last longer.
