It’s definitely been a crazy 6 months. COVID turned a lot of our plans upside down, and we’ve grieved losses. But I’ve been really thankful for the quality time with my family, and reorienting my priorities to what actually matters. So glad you’re back to posting videos! I can’t wait to see the furnished house tour, and watch where life takes you next!

I'm a new sub and I have been binge watching your life for most of the day. I went on trips with you on your other channel, so fun, you really have had a wonderful time. Sorry about your health struggles this year. I also have fibromyalgia. It definitely takes some getting used to. Being a creator is a great thing for someone with fibro - especially making money from that creativity. What helps me is trying to keep days away balanced as possible. If I do too much I definitely need recovery time so I try to take breaks throughout the day even if I don’t feel like I need them. Just a few minutes sitting down, stretching, reading a couple of chapters, some crochet or whatever, then doing another task, rather than powering through hours of cleaning or whatever. The electric woodstove looks fabulous in that fireplace nook! Excited for a furnished house tour and maybe some kitchen foodie content Be gentle with yourself Congrats on your gorgeous home

I'm sorry to hear about the fibro diagnosis. It's overwhelming and scary at first. You will heal and recover in due time. I have had it for 15 years. If you need any advice or just need to vent please feel free to message me. I'm in remission now and am the healthiest i've been since childhood . There's lots I have learned along the way I would be happy to share with you. Lockdown for me has been a blessing in disguise. I have grown so much and it's really given me time to focus on self discovery and cultivating creation and joy. So happy to see you back. :-D Keep shining

Lovely video Kay. So nice to see you again! I have a friend who works nights for 2 weeks and days for 2 weeks on a rotating shift and I can see the toll it is taking on her. I dont think I could ever do it myself. When the lockdown started here in canada I thought not much would be changed for me...I've always been an "at home" kind of person, and I have loads of crafts and things I enjoy doing to pass the time, but actually having to stay at home made me realise how I actually enjoy seeing my friends and going to work. Now I'm back at work a couple of days a week and I'm enjoying having all this time at home still. People keep telling me I need to get another job to make more money, but at the moment all my expenses are covered each month and I'm ok with how things are...so I'm just gonna go with it and see what the future brings. I cant wait to see your new videos! And all the best in your new home 😊🧡

I am so excited to see you again! This past 6 months have been a weird whirlwind for everyone, I think. Where I live in the US things are still really bad. I also have not been going anywhere because my elderly Mother lives with us and my community has not at all been cautious. We have a mask mandate but no one is wearing them so it has gotten to the point where I do not feel safe going anywhere in town at all. I am going to have to check out your new Etsy store! I have one as well. I sell vintage home goods and handmade jewelry!

I wouldn't worry about how much you guys had to wait after the offer was accepted on the second house because 13 weeks is pretty quick. As far as I know anything below 3 months is considered a quick process. For us it was exactly 3 months, but I know of some people who had to wait for 4-5 months until all the paperwork went through. Anyway, looking forward to your new content! ♥️

So sorry to hear you have fibromyalgia Kay. That's definitely not fair at such a young age. I have it, but got diagnosed in my 40s. My eldest got diagnosed at 18. Hopefully your healthy diet should help with pain and symptoms. Do you think that's what might have been going on back in NZ? I know it took me over 7 years to get a diagnosis - but that's when it got really bad and I went from being able to do daily walks to hardly being able to walk down the road !!! Now, I'm not sure how you managed carrying all that stuff up the stairs. No wonder you were exhausted. Take care of yourself and learn how to pace so you don't overdo things and set off a flare. Fibro is so stupid and affects everyone so differently.
