Loss control is absolutely not enough, but a fundamental criteria to becoming consistent. You still need to have EDGE. Otherwise it is death by a thousand cuts.

I’m not so sure about this, at least in the way edge is spoken about on forums like this. Proper Risk management given enough volatility can be an edge in itself and is probably the most important edge.

I think what the Gentleman needs is not a Coach or the learning of Loss Control. Instead, it should be something more deep down needs to be fixed. It is the "Real Meaning of Trading" should be to "Survive", and makes one's life grow ! Wish him all the best, and get away from the reliance on Luck.

Options selling has unlimited risks of losses whereas in options buying premium is the only loss you take.
