Question to billups please : Deni scored 19 points with just 7 shots and only 1 TO, made the team move the ball, and we led by 17, not to mention the defense we take for granted by this point... How do you explain taking him out?

he's not a better defender than toumani and grant is a much better shooter, provides more spacing, there you have your answer.

@jeremyb5862 What the hell are you taking about? Grant was 3/14 , Deni 6/7 . Camara is perhaps the more defensive oriented but not the better defender. Deni's opponents score 33% 3PT / 54% 2PT with 2.0 fouls made. Camara's opponents score 36% and 57% with 2.9 fouls made.

@@modax0 toumani is 100% a better defender than deni, especially at the POA. Grant still get guarded closer than deni at the perimeter, watch the game.

@jeremyb5862 Deni actually drove and kicked out to him 3 times this very game and no one even remotely closing on Grant for 0/3 threes. And Camara is not Deni level in defense just because you repeat yourself. I follow them both.

I like how Chauncey has them playing. Its good basketball. Passing the ball and scrappy defense. Just like Chauncey played and said he wants his team to play.

some players should have been disciplined for selfish plays so many times this season. but when they play together they play well.

@@parkboi3800 he is a good Defensive coach, the players (besides Ayton) are committed, and they play different types of defense. On the offensive side there is an improvement, yet not enough drills and to much dependent on Ant/sharp witch is ok but need to be reduced and balanced. vs the Nuggets we gave the extra pass most min so it was also easier for ant to go in. for example Ant wasn't doubled at the last position because Avdija player was afraid of his 3pt shot.

bad min et the end of the 2q was everything unhealthy about the team game. but most min played the right way. Avdija should have played more min so does DC.
