55:10 I like how Cj goes into detail about the stuff that doesn't need extra explanation, but doesn't for the things that give better context to the clip he uses. That part when law happened to be 'shot' again, he made his *room* big enough to cover the area to switch himself out with an already injured soldier on the lower level of the palace. So doffy was actually killing one of his soldiers and not law, and when his back was turned law simply switch back with the guys and got a sneak attack in on him.

About the Celestial Dragons riding a man to buy more slaves and no one saying anything about it, The CDs being World Nobles in One Piece can do whatever they want and buy whatever they want, even people. If anyone attacks them, then an Admiral is sent straight to the area of the CD that was attacked and Admirals are one of the 3 strongest Marines in the entire Navy. No one wants that smoke. Even worse, no one wants to live and become a slave should they survive. Luffy didn't know that which is why Sabaody Archipelago got attacked when he sent St. Charloss into the 5th row in that slave auction. Many of the pirates held a grudge against Luffy for this.

I can’t lie, like….. They quit JoJo’s cause a dog died. Same video they said they’d watched “all the anime” then listed the most generic shit possible. The Tanya reaction, they seemed surprised she’s a monster. The anime, and as mentioned in the video, is called Tanya the evil. In this video, they admit to, for some reason, quitting an anime because something emotional happens? I’ve been bingeing their CJ reactions, because honestly their reactions are absolutely class as background while I’m playing Isaac, and they’re pretty funny. But their actual anime takes are fucking horrendous.

@@ivans562 yeah, I’m not much of an anime person, One Piece hooked me this year, and in the past few months I’ve made it to whole cake island. But I love reactions and video essays while I’m working. And it’s one of my biggest pet peeves when people talk confidently like they know, when they didn’t pick up on information, or didn’t even get to that point in a show yet.

A character you like died so you dropped the entire series? It’s not even a main character, it’s a side character who hadn’t even done that much. He’s just hot and cool. It does get to me occasionally though that they always try and speak with such an air of authority, when with all due respect they have absolutely no clue what they’re talking about. They consistently act like there’s some way anime “should be”, as best evidenced by their lack of ability to handle unlikeable protagonists. It’s a medium, guys. Different stories are told. Jesus. I wouldn’t mind it if they didn’t kick down a bit. Like, they acted like JJBA is a terrible, super cliché anime, and they were 100% confident that was true because they watched one CJ DaChamp video that skimmed 2 out of the 8 completed parts. Like………dude, I love CJ, but you can’t use fucking parodies as a way to legitimately judge the quality of a property.

Pasting this from another reaction video: Doffy is terrifying because even when Luffy defeated him and he was imprisoned, he was not angry, upset, or felt like he didn't deserve his L; he laughed. Dood did not give a single F about his empire falling, instead he was curious how his removal from play would pan out. Doffy reminds me a lot of a JPRG villain named Luca Blight from Suikoden; when Luca is defeated, and I'll contend that while he's not the final boss, he is the toughest boss of the game. Anyways, once he's beaten, you're not left feeling jubilant or exhilerated, you're left feeling bitter and cold. Bro literally laughs his ass off as he knows that even though he's beaten, he's killed thousands of people, overthrew and murdered his own father, and the war he started will continue. He was not wrong either, everyone thought peace was going to come to fruition, but peace talks fail and thousands more die. Luca and Doffy are both irredeemable monsters.

since I don't see it, bit of an explanation of Conqueror's Haki: you gotta be born with it, and have the ambition to rule(I think? might just need to be born with it). makes it so that anybody without a certain level of willpower can _NOT_ remain conscious because of the sheer force of will/pressure of their will. So most common people (marines, commoners, etc) just _pass out_ when the user of it unleashes it. When 2 people's conqueror's Haki clashes, it reverberates throughout the air and can cause actual blody _storms_. its nuts as hell

Fun fact about frozen bounties, which is only a One Piece thing which is something I didn't know until i looked it up. "Certain circumstances may result in a bounty being frozen, rendering it temporarily inactive and shielding that person from judicial persecution. A notable example is having a membership in the Seven Warlords of the Sea (which extends to all explicit subordinates), as well as slavery under the World Nobles. However, if these circumstances are retracted for any reason, the bounty will automatically be reinstated - possibly even increasing - and re-legitimize arrest." - From the One Piece Wiki on the topic of Bounties, it's the fifth paragraph. (Again this is from the One Piece Wiki so take it with a grain of salt). TLDR. The One Piece Wiki states that if your bounty is frozen it basically doesn't exist anymore unless you do something that would have it unfrozen in which it is now active and could potentially increase.
