Wonderful tour of the Jane Austen Garden Trail. i wasn't able to get up as early as my friend, Jeanne, but I was delighted to see our plaque at the beginning of the Shrubbery Walk. We are the two who became friends through Jane Austen. What a lifetime pleasure we now share!

At #ChawtonGardenFest today, Stephen Bending explained that Bishop Burke identified the pleasures of Reason, Imagination, and The Senses. This walking trail of Jane Austen quotations, so well chosen and situated, satisfies all three.
