Those little trees are from the Dollar Tree store and cost $1.25 each. You can buy two , move all the branches to one side, get the second tree, do the same, tie back them together, spread the branches out and you have a fuller really pretty little Christmas tree for $2.50.

Just did exactly that with those same trees from the $ tree. My 8yr old grandson saw it today and wants it for his room, so that's where it's going after I get him some colorful fairy lights for it. Then he can decorate as he pleases.

Yep lol! It's so funny how Goodwill is pricing things these days. I have a few mini trees from years ago when they were still $1. I noticed many things in Goodwill are becoming higher than I am willing to pay for used-donated items. I still enjoy watching them shop around though.

That plastic face John picked up and looked back at Stewart cracked me up so much. I don’t entertain as much as I did before but I lend out all of my dishes and platters to friends that I had thrifted and got from estate sales over the years. I really enjoyed this thrifting trip.

Sometimes it’s good to look at the expensive stores first to see what’s trending and THEN hit the thrift stores to replicate the look by painting or rehabbing the thrift finds. Rub and buff is a key component in a thrifter’s kit😂

That's exactly where they came from! Just my opinion, but Goodwill has gone crazy on their prices. You can't try anything on since covid, and in my area, they will not refund you, only a store credit. Turns me off!
