I'm so glad i finally got the chance to watch this video. I've been watching Matt since 2013, and he's really been such a great influence on me and my love for Pokemon. He's also gotten me into shiny hunting in recent years and has even shaped how i make KZbin videos as well!

for me, i saw matts videos when i was much younger, pre growth spurt? when i came upon him again, he was much leaner and had long hair. was def surprised. haha

You mention that there needs to be more love for the middle evolutions, which I’m glad, because Brionne, Braixen, and while it’s not a starter, Gothorita are all some of my all time favorites (Though my love for Joltik eclipses all)

I still haven't started my journey, but I have ma channel made and videos fully made but I'm scared the the shiny hunting community won't accept me. Having subbed to Matt for 30 months and gotten raided by him on twitch a couple times and interactions with Quick, Tailor, Gronk and SupArk it makes me really nervous that they wouldn't like me if I became popular enough to have interactions with them.

I didn’t know that all the pokemon had an alternate color, just gyarados and remember lvling mons right before goldenrod and a drowzee sparkled…I didn’t catch it lol
