Ball hate is so bad right now: I HARD carried a team to defeat, I performed amazingly, got 10k damage, while the best player on my team got I think 5.5K, Held point forever, Got a ton of kills, Got Play of the Game, and the whole lobby still thought I sucked and spammed: Ball u suck, L ball, Garbage ball, and other toxic garbage for 2 minuets strait while MY Play of the Game was going.

Genuinely curious as I’m only a plat- diamond player, how do you play with a ball? It’s quite difficult I feel like as dps unless the whole enemy team focus the ball

It comes down to playing smart rather than holding W. If you have a decent ball they're going to be killing one of their supports/dps over and over or distracting 2+ of them at all times. If you're used to playing with Orisa/Roadhog/Winston, you're used to having 100% of the enemy team shooting at the tank instead of you. You have to use corners well and avoid taking damage yourself instead of relying on simple peel. The reason it works is a good ball gives you the numbers advantage every time, because he can get picks or split the enemy team and rejoin the teamfight faster and more consistently than any other tank. You'll also have more of your support's attention because ball is more self-sustainable. If you play with them so they can keep you topped off and they deal damage with you, you'll have superior firepower and healing every fight.
