I appreciate your research and investment in Sicily. This is a land that has so much to offer. My grandfather came from Agrigento to Uruguay, where I was born and live now, but I am evaluating the possibility of going to Sicily and maybe stay there. I've been there three times and it's my spot in the world. Apart from that, you should visit Punta del Este in Uruguay, it's a great place to invest and tourists get crazy about it during our summer (December to February).

I remember seeing something like this before, I cannot remember which country. But in order to buy at this cheaper price you have to show proof that you're able to refurbish the home. And you have to finish within a certain amount of time. Not sure if that's the same for these homes.
@Karl__Pierre4 жыл бұрын
Similar. 3 years to finish the he project or you get fined. Other places want you to demonstrate ability to fix it. They want properties improved not someone buying it for a dollar and say some day I'll fix it.

With the Cost of rebuilding, you might as well get a decent house with the amount. The cost of most houses are relatively low. I agree with you about the market, but I'm not waiting in vain. I'm finishing up a cybersecurity course and plan on rebranding my business, so once this course done, I should have my codice fiscale and will unregister at my local town hall (we have to register/unregister ourselves at the local town halls each time we move in or out of the area). In the meantime, people will feel more confident moving about post COVID-19 and the prices on homes will hopefully start decreasing - more so in the southern regions. Good question. Mussomeli is a small town in Sicily. The south is less economically viable so with the open of the Eurozone alot of people have left Italy, especially the south, for better economic growth. They leave to England, France, Germany, Switzerland etc. So the youth isn't repopulating these towns. Also in mussomeli there is the new town. That's where the locals prefer to live, homes are modern more spacious. Also with parking so the locals have outgrown the nostalgic feel of old town even though that's where the bars and restaurants are. As a foreign old town is perfect for me.

Hell yeah dude this is awesome. Really stoked on this idea right now with the way things are slowly turning into 1984. I live in Canada and will be living in Bali for a few months in February so hopefully I can make some time to stop over at places like this where there is some cheap real estate available to foreign buyers. The only thing that I don't particularly like about these homes is there isn't any yard space or anything. It's basically just a building. Great series so far though man I look forward to watching the rest for more specific details.

@Karl__Pierre4 жыл бұрын
It depends on the town, each Town has its conditions on the terms of the euro homes. Usually in those towns that have euro homes they also have listings that are very cheap and liveable. As far as having a taste for woman of color I think some people are drawn to what is uncommon in your area. They also like blonde hair since most Italians are brunette

Well done. Having been through the rigours of the Italian property market it takes a fair amount of courage and a bit of naivety to follow this dream. I hope you're armed with some people looking out for your best interests as there are many pitfalls for the uninitiated (though the sums you are talking aren't crippling). We are working on landing our first house outside of Florence, but have almost bought properties on 2 other occasions (until the pitfalls I mentioned kicked in). Fortune favours the brave. Salute

@@Karl__Pierre The first property had a number of spaces that weren't on the official plans at the commune. The second property was zoned as rural, which means the property owner must generate 50% of their income from that property, or pay 30k to have the zoning changed. We are in the midst of purchasing another property now, so hopefully all goes well!

That's an Amazing Deal.👍🏾The smaller property can be marketed as Rustic & that tiny bathtub is too cute.🛁 I like the 3 story property & the upstairs kitchen is adorable...I'm cooking up there! I would have to persue the abandoned property next door for possible expansion. Parking & that view are great features. Good food & beaches are enough, but I researched that Sicily is serious about Theatre & Karaoke. I may have to give you some business. My initials plans were to spend the minimum of one month in Italy around April & I would have gotten stranded there due to Coronavirus. 6 months would be more likely to satisfy because I must explore many places. I've been interested in Euro Deals especially in Sardinia & Sicily. Congrats!🏤

I like your 1st choice, the one on via Paulo Velenza. It fronts a cobblestone street with a facade that looks like its been there for centuries. I'm hoping that the adjacent properties are likewise, with shadows that changes depending on the time of day. What would be a tremendous bonus is if that cobblestone street would open up to a nearby piazza featuring an old church with cafes in its periphery. I didn't like your 2nd choice though. I know its practical to front an asphalt parking lot but because it reminds of where trailer homes are located, I don't like it much. . And its interior is not much better. It reminds me of my Italian friends' basements when I was growing up. x 2. Where are you narrating this video from, if you don't mind me asking. It looks like a huge, super cool loft, but I'm seeing 2 elevator doors which is unusual even for a loft with a private elevator access. Just curious.

@@Karl__Pierre I like South East Asia. The people are friendly and living there is far cheaper than Europe, and the United States. In the Philippines in the capital of Manila, there are many competed Condos where the developers are begging for business. Because of the Corona Virus, tourism has come to a dead stop. I understand Condos in Doorman buildings are going for mortgage payments of about $150 a month. Thailand, and Vietnam are also good buys. If looking for a house, you can only buy a house if you marry a native in one of the countries, or do a "Lease Hold", which allows you to lease the land a house is on for up to 50 years. Your viewers should also check out a newsletter called "Overseas Living" which talks about investing in real estate in all parts of the world, and the cost of living, Healthcare, and other topics for those who like to call more than one place home.
