Brandon O. Lol. It looked like a bubble gum stain. We tried our best, that’s for sure.

Well, your dash is lifting up so there's a lot of other issues than just the cracks . Looks like you would have to put the dash back down first and that would change the way the crack may be filled. Honestly that little kit I'm sure is not for your type of situation and you'd be better off getting a professional to repair the dash for you. The kit is more for cracks and tears not for lifting cracked surfaces. Ultimately operator error is what I see here.

Practical Car Guy I agree. I would also like to try to fix it with some epoxy and air brush but I would need all of that to even try.

Product is more YMMV. Your mileage may vary by a lot. I have had this kit work very well in some cases (usually chunks missing not broke flaps) on uses car lots and I have also had it not work for shit. That needs more than that kit can manage sadly.

Keyword CHEAP. I tried this kit as it's no good. I simply cut out bad area tucked in new piece of leather in and a bit of glue and done. Was a square where new patch was but better than it was as it was just a used car.

You guys DEFINITELY stick to nuts and bolts. Experimenting on someone's car?? Lacking any "crafting" skills cannot be overstated. Preparation, knowledge of processes related to the materials involved, heat curing materials or following instructions and using your head and the internet. Sorry, just tough love and advice.

Have to start somewhere. I’m sure that everyone started with something they weren’t perfect at.

@@JohnEngel yes, my only thought is to practice in a few items and test your theories on how it will go - before real customers. It's pretty clear early that it was bound to fail. I do appreciate balls to post your work so take my critical noise for what it's worth 😁🤞

Lol. No worries. I don’t always post the fails but wanted people to see that this is something that will take practice and they should not think they will fix it on the first ever try.

MLGKrypton I know what you mean. I would look for a pro. This is something that can be done and make your seats look new again but you need the right tools and experience.
