Much more realistic than the increasingly crazily expensive soft luggage options now on the market.

I know the video is a few years old, but just had to give feedback. The advice perfect for me, as I'm usually a "day out" rider with 2014 CRF250L since new. I did fully weave in webbing straps between the yoke and bags - very solid. Do then have to pull out individually packed little dry bags or take the yoke off complete but that's actually very easy. First trip with kit, 3 days two nights from Gloucestershire out to Llanidloes via the ACT, a day around the area then back.

Hey Peter, thanks for the feedback, so pleased this is working for you. Yep it’s an older video but the system is still sound. Sometimes the simple ideas are the best right 👍 happy trails buddy, sounds like you had a really cool trip 😎

Great ideas but with all due respect there are other great solutions and affordable. And I mean just as inexpensive as the one you guys show without needing so many adaptations of material originally not suited for that purpose. Givi grt721 canyon base 115€ and two 20L dry bags for 20€ each and you get a quite simple setup easy to manage for 155€. Thanks for all the videos, love the channel

Love seeing videos from fellow brits, "definately not a large puddle" 🤣🤣. Genius idea which I might go with, I was thinking of a large duffle strapped onto the back of my crf but favour the weight lower down option of panniers, but some crazy prices and I don't have wads of it. Thanks.
@lightweightadv2 жыл бұрын
Hey Stephen, no problem. We actually have a duffle on top of these too. LOMO do some quality waterproof kit at some decent prices 👍🏻
@steveh1002 жыл бұрын
@@lightweightadv yep, I've ordered a pair of these, the webbing yolk and a few rock straps, will bung what kit I can in them and see what size duffle/ dry pack I'll need after, all for less than the cost of my mosko moto pico tank bag 😄 which I quite like. Thanks again guys

Not a bad idea. Although I would probably suggest those plastic ended bungees. Those coated metal hooks on the basic bungee tend to chip and scratch.
