There's a good question. The answer is I don't see a qualitative difference between the Ali brands. I've personally had mostly good experiences but when I include those of a couple forum threads I'm on it smooths out with QC issues. I'm told the brands I use have issues, and I got lucky. I can believe that. The loose sloppier tolerance on one may appear 'worse' but it's easy to operate and locks fine. Whereas I've spent an hour changing the angle on the locking hooks because the tolerance was too tight. It's great now, but if you're paying $5 or under for a clasp you probably just want the sloppy one that works. Buy two, cross your fingers.

Can you post a link for the UTHAI one? All the ones i could find use show the double hook mechanism same as the others seen in this video
