what is Joop! Le Bain like? i keep hearing that it is a old cult favorite within the affordable sector, but never had a chance to try it!
@marimedgal4 жыл бұрын
Maria Meliora Joop! Le Bain is a lovely fragrance. I’ve heard a few fragrance reviewers on KZbin speak highly of it, so I had to try it. I bought a brand new bottle for about $20 US. It’s slightly sweet but definitely not cloying. It’s slightly musky and powdery. It has good lasting power too. It’s unlike any fragrance I’ve had before. I heard someone say it’s a good dupe for one of the Alien flankers but I don’t remember which one. I only have the original Alien and it doesn’t smell anything like that one. The only thing I don’t like about Joop! Le Bain is the bottle; it’s not very attractive, but the juice inside makes up for it. 🥰

My favorite perfumes are L’Ange Noire Givenchy and Shalimar Initial L’Eau Guerlain🌸but they are hard to find and not so cheap. Did you try them? @MariaMeliora4 жыл бұрын
Hold your horses, darling. Why is it horrible for you?
4 жыл бұрын
Some perfumes smell bad on skin but that doesn't mean the perfume itself is bad. Some fragrances are just not working for your taste or your chemistry. I'm curious too, why do you find poeme terrible?
@ARoss-hl7gj4 жыл бұрын
I actually owned this perfume when it first came out in the 90's. Must have a note that makes it stink. I've never met anyone who wears it. I live in California...maybe just not our style...lol.. or possibly they have changed the formula. :)
4 жыл бұрын
That's probably the issue with this :) up here in Canada heavy strong perfumes are working well in cold long winters.
@MariaMeliora4 жыл бұрын
@@ARoss-hl7gj oh oh, speaking as a Californian, I can happily share, that Poeme is an absolute hit down here, lots of compliments . This is a powerful sweet floral. If used sparingly it is majestic. Most perfumes stink if over sprayed, and there are always individual preferences at play. But let's not over generalize and ascribe other people or objects our subjective feelings. There is plenty to love in the perfume land, enough for all❤️
