Sounds decent. Very classic sounding. I would replace the pups immediately personally. Probably the pots as well. Good mod platform. Reverse headstock is actually more ideal for tuning. You don't have to turn your hand around to tune. It's a preference thing. Shredders love it. The V shape is definitely not for everyone. Not really a sitting guitar. Its meant for standing and the 90 degree angled cable.

Ir is certainly a worthy guitar; especially for the $. They look so cool. I would've gotten the Amber if it were available when I bought this. Either way, it's a fun guitar. I may swap pickups. whoa, just got my Blue Cerberus a few days ago and it's my first "Flying V" and my 2nd WestCreek Guitar (Revenge). At first I thought I got a returned Cerberus but realized the possibility it was just sitting too long in the warehouse. A little nick on the headstock and the back of the neck is gummy, which I took care of by sanding down with 0000 steel wool. I don't care for the reverse headstock but I can live with it. May change the location of the strap button on the right but I definitely can't stand the location of the input jack. I used an angled input jack and that help a bit. Thanks for your review. I completely agree with your concluding opinions of borderline call on purchasing and a mild recommendation to anyone thinking about buying a Cerberus.

🤣 It's definitely a look! I certainly don't play like the typical "V" person, but I like the guitar. Now, I wouldn't spend Gibson money on a V, but for about $200 I can say I have a pretty good Flying V style guitar.

Thanks, David! Yes, I agree, with the SD-1 assessment. It sounded good clean and with overdrive. I wasn't wild about its sound with distortion. My sound was clipping a bit, which wouldn't help, but it was fizzy in-room as well. Thanks for watching and commenting! I appreciate you!

The reverse headstock is the nicest thing about the guitar from a viewers standpoint. Didja check to see if the bridge was on backward?

I've heard about this discovery. Looks like there's something to it. I'll have to see if they're all same sized slots or it's truly backwards. I may do a video to clarify. Hilarious if true.

Would you recommend it for playing death metal? Like would it hold low low tuning?

I never tried low, low tuning. So, I can't say. I would recommend higher gain pickups as these may not cut it for Death Metal.

I don't have any that I've played or owned. I wish I could recommend one, but this is actually the only one I've played. Yeah, the input jack is really a bizarre location. What were they thinking?! Thank you for watching the video, I really appreciate it!

bout mine in silver chunky neck i love pickuos are certainly decent will be putting emgs in place for sure such a nice feeling guitar its heavey set neck cant complain back to listening to megadeth the tuners are tight but they hold tune so well metal guitar for sure havent touched clean buy it its my first and certainly not last westcreek usually buy iyv which are also awesome these asian made guitars are such a steal currently cerebrus is my favorite good review thanks BUY ONE NOW im buying another in amber

I have two now... a 333 and a Racer... I replaced the chrome pickups in the Racer with a set of old black hot Dean's (17k/12k) Damn thing will do AC/DC to Metallica know with just a twist of the volume pot :) Anyone need a set of chromes that aren't microphonic? I have an ebay account... I'll make you a smokin' deal
