Thanks for making this video 🫡 If you still have your original signals intact you can use the plugs to do this and you don’t have to buy the ones he used. I used the stock connectors and spliced the whole thing in. Used the oem lightbulb 3 wire plug, cut and spliced RBW w corresponding wires to get power and signal (my light didn’t come with a plug wired up) Used oem signal plugs, cut wires and spliced blue/purple for Left and yellow/purple for Right. I left the black wires bc i couldn’t de-pin them for the life of me but i cut them back far enough to be clear of the splice and they went under the secondary layer of heat shrink. Everything was heat shrunk first at splices and again with a segment of black heat shrink over the top. Works great so far 🤙🏼 definitely bright enough at night.

The same light now comes with the connectors already installed. No need to purchase the connectors separately now.

Do you know what the extra black wire is for. Could you connect side factory indicators with those after market wires. So you wouldn't have to pigtail them?

Load equalizers are needed to stop hyper flash

I changed out the stock rear running lights/turn signals lights to the Arlen Ness LED ones and never experienced the hyper flash.My bike is the 2018 iron 1200 though with the chopped fender so not sure if it's only an issue on the older Harley's.

Ramiro Estrada Not yet. Some companies make new seats for them but the used market for 04 & 05 seats is pretty dry.

FYI, when you turn the key off, it turns off the turn signals too. 🤯🙄

You took the time to get rid of the extra wire but then you decided not to heat shrink your connections, which you were going to do from the start? Whats up with that?

I was probably supposed to heat shrink that clear piece but i wasn’t entirely sure. I mention this in the video....Main reason I didn’t was cause the clear piece didn’t completely cover the connections which I didn’t like. I wanted to be able to easily disconnect that connection and put a longer piece of heat shrink over the entire connection at a later time.
