I like the Wood better, but the foam is nice as well.

Ohh? The texture? I really liked how I could fiddle and draw into the foam - but the final product looked nicer on actual wood, I think.

If you stick the roof lightly in foam at an angle you can easily bend it where you need then a drop of glue will hold it. Then pull out of the foam and use.

I think I prefer the foam top when compared to the wood top however, they're both really cool!

Yeah I ended up likibg the final product of the actual wood but the foam looked better beforehand

I liked the wood, you can hit that with a blowtorch for colour

Have you thought about using a lighter and lightly burning the wood to add texture

Oooh? That could make some amazing texture. Better then paint could... I might just have to do that in a future video. Perhaps some battle damage/infernal/fire plane sort of terrain 🤔 That's a great suggestion, thankyou! 👏

@@thecraftsmansguide1357 Not a drama at all; your content deserves the support. Was thinking if you make the roof sections as 4x separate triangles you could glue/trim with less issues and then stick all 4 together that way.
