Cheap and large! Making supermarket bento boxes, which are very popular for huge bento boxes

This time, I asked Marusan Super Okegawa store in Saitama to take a picture.
The supermarket is popular for its super-discount-priced bento boxes and the bento boxes that the store manager who doesn't know how to serve, and the store manager's job is to make large-sized bento boxes.
Actually, there are many fans of this large-sized lunch box, and when there are many bomb rice balls, it seems that about 300 pieces can be sold a month. The store manager was impressive.
By the way, it seems that the black container used for the big lunch box is a container for roasted chicken used at Christmas.

輪ゴムでかろうじて蓋が乗ってる他の大盛り弁当と違い蓋がちゃんと閉まる容器なのが素晴らしい。

Agree so much. I hate the ugly look so much when they try to cram every single things (especially the karaage) into the container with rice and then you have this huge open gap that can't be closed. Pain in the ass to carry around

I love Japanese food and their bento is out of this world. Delicious, healthy, big portion and available everywhere. Everytime I visit Japan, I went for the bento. Hotomoto is my favourite.

They all love to eat fried tempura and sweets since the beginning of time, but it doesn't make them bloated or fat because why? They practice balanced diet. Take the greens, take the carb, take the oily fried stuff, and they would still maintain their health. It's not like there's no fat Japanese dudes.
