If you live where it snows they are great for keeping up with snow fall on sidewalks and plazas or cleaning up light to medium snow fall and slush.

For the angle part being so violent go to a hydraulic shop they should have an orfice than can go into the line and if not they'll definitely have a hydraulic dial you can add to daily the exact hydraulic flow you want for that part but those aren't cheap

I would run it up the arm with zip ties then run it back down towards the cab and make a hole thur the window grating so it’s not just hanging in the pinch zone but that’s just my two cents I don’t wanna be an example in one of your videos lol

You honestly could mount the switch to the broom and set it up to run off a drill battery

a cheap way of fixing side rams . take one of the fittings for each direction of the rams weld the centre of the fitting then drill a .5mm hole through then put back together
