Cheap car speakers, are they of any good?

I have two of these for a while now WORKIN FINE. I replaced the dust cap of it with aluminum ones from an old soda can and it's now water proof and more bassier 😎😎

@@chrclmnky no it's not i cut it using a metal sheet cutter and i sealed it with hot melt glue carefully

@@RTX_Labs_Productions i mean the aluminum can bottom is too hard for dust cap duties. I might try this trick on one of my home theater speakers because they're dust caps were depressed by someone lol.

I have gotten a lot of cheaper speakers and got great sound out of them. Even had people who spent thousands of dollars give my systems compliments on how great it sounds compared to theirs.

Thanks. I know there are so subwoofers with single 2 Ohm coils available around. For door speakers they are mostly 4 Ohms. Never seen one with 2 Ohm.

@@chrclmnky as always, you are the expert and are exactly right. I did a couple of searches because some cars, including mine have 2 ohm systems from the factory. But the overwhelming majority are 4 ohm. Thanks for your polite correction. And keep up the work with the great videos. I always look forward to watching.

Sir, just wanna ask if this speakers could be considered as a great alternative for CMS6V2? Would this be enough for mid para may konti bass at sigaw din? Planning to add some upgrades sa kotse pero on a tight budget. TIA

These speakers are in fact softer than cms6v2's. These has about 72Hz Fs compared to 120Hz of those Category 7s.

I had the 4 inch version of this woofer back then and here's my opinion (not sure if it will be the same as the other bigger versions) Cons: they aren't for bass head's they bottom out quite easily. The coil of them doesn't take much power and could easily get blown. (blew mine by accident using a 50x50w mini amp) Mids and highs distorts badly at bassy track's when it gets to high excursion's. (you could cut out the lower frequency's to prevent this) So far that's all the cons i had encounter with these and it's an okay speaker for the price its a (get what you paid for) kind of deal.
