Hi bro, would suggest if the camera position is on top so that we can see more details. Camera at an angle makes it hard to see clearly

A bushing is also called a bearing, contrary to a ball bearing. Sloppy handles, rough gears and 1 mm play in the drive shaft have been the norm for many years. Some of the strongest baitcasters like the Shimano Calcutta 400, or Ambassduer rockets are build like that.

Yeah, most of reel from china... 17 ballS bearing vs 17 ball bearingS ..... They printed that on the box and make you think that the reel have 17 bearings but ... actualy there are 17 balls inside a single bearing.

i bought two of these for the Grandsons they have used them already this year maybe 50 times no telling how many cast. So far good performance from them, I mean there not 200 dollar reels , I guess anyone can pick something to death as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. When you buy cheap reels you know there may be issues but in today's world the cheap reels are much much better & if you are a weekend warrior there great in my opinion. BTW Piscifuns are great reels to. So I don,t pay these guys no mind when they are nick picking cheap reels you know there not 200 dollar reels....

You got it , my thinking exactly. Don't forget , the major name brands don't make reels , rods or any other product themselves , they're just marketing companies that source the manufacturing to the lowest bidder. True , they may have a somewhat better quality control but in the end , these Chinese suppliers make reels for all of them. The gap in cost doesn't justify the small gap in quality if there is any at all. Most brands , no matter what industry are working with this concept. Time to take out the 5 middlemen in between that are quadrupling the cost to the consumer by just handing the item from person to the next. These guys have no function in our lives , cut them out , there's enough parasites on my dog , don't need any leaching of my wallet :)

Some of the Chinese reels put 4 or more bearings in the handle knob.

Got a DIY handle from Sugayilang that "featured" 4 bearings. Even showed pictures with 2 ball bearings in each knob. One knob was kinda rough so I opened up and found a pair of NYLON BUSHINGS !

Yes most Chinese reels list how many balls in total between all the bearings. They mislead us. But I know what they mean. Perhaps they should say how many bearings and roll balls.

Maybe they are counting the BBs inside the bearings? I have a punch set arriving today with the correct sizes to do the leather mod on my torrents. Thanks again for that video.

so the sougayliang has only 4 bearings, I still hear good reviews on the reels from most people that have them, stating they cast smoooth, etc........aside from them lying about the number of bearings, what do u think of the reel overall?

If you just used it in fresh water for a catfish rig it will be ok but the bearing don't last long in salt . and you can cast lures but sometimes on some reels you will get a chatter . Piscifun reels I would say are better .
