How do you film videos without the black beams on the sides, when you are filming vertically I wonder? With that clamp over your phone, you cant really reach the buttons if you want to film something horizontally, no? thanks for this tutorial

The clamp doesn’t cover the buttons so you’re good 😊 and vertical videos with black bars can be edited with some tricks post filming, but I sometimes have the vertical videos covering half my screen with the upclose work, and then me talking on the other side of the screen if that makes sense? So that’s what I use vertical filming for 🤗xax

When using the phone, the output is long and skinny. How do you make it wide like for TV?

Turn your phone so it’s in landscape mode. So you’re filming horizontally. Hope that helps. 😊

Great video! I have a table top stand for my iPhone, similar to yours. But how do I record without my recording flipping. I want it to record like your Mylee gel remover tutorial - we are viewing the way you are seated and seeing. When I try to record it’s coming out upside down. I’m so frustrated 🙄

I’m not 100% sure what you mean here BUT you can just flip it when you’re editing it so it’s the right way up if this happens 😊xax

You’re welcome! Maybe try turning your light down slightly or moving the subject further from the place you’re getting the shadow. You can also adjust your camera settings to help with flickering - have a search for that with your camera and I’m sure someone will have done a tutorial xax

You’d need two cameras then I think! But you could turn this one the other way and point down towards your feet for that part x
