The 18kpv and 6000xp models are where it’s at. Good price point and not a bunch of extra things you have to buy as with other units. These are home run products for us DIY types. Under 2 years and I will be looking to replace my SolarEdge grid tie unit with something from SS so excited for what they will have to choose from then.

Sounds like the right choice! Either that or Sol-Ark 15k. Can’t beat the power and capability for the price.

My experience with ss has been stellar. In Michigan where there is a ton of naysayers, with batteries I’m able to use washer, dryer, slow cooker, run 3 freezers, heat even on cloudy raining days. Running with 30kw of batteries and dreaming to buy more so on those sunny days I can store “more power”

I was building my diy system and had heard of Signature Solar but didn’t know it was in my backyard. My objective at the first was not saving money but dependable power for medical equipment and refrigerators.I can’t find a place to quit. I have five Growatt inverters and 1EG4 3k,6 batteries, and like being able to scale up,paying cash to build my system the last 3 years. I’m now using a EG4 3 k inverter with 3 LiFePo batteries on my son’s off-grid home project in the Sequatchie Valley in Tennessee. Nothing like electric coffee at daybreak in the forest!

💡SS has grown fast by giving everyday folks🤠 an affordable entry point to DIY their own solar☀️ power system. I built my first solar system with EG4 equipment from SS and posted it on YT. Thousands of people really liked it and gave a lot of positive feedback. I’m already starting on my next larger EG4 solar system with plans to take our entire farm solar!⚡️🔋😁

Yes, sir! I love supporting other solar experts that actually know what they are talking about. We got to stick together, as there are a lot of posers out there in the industry. Thanks for checking us out!

That is no excuse. If you plan on growing your products you should grow your customer support at the same time. Poor planning and leaving the customer to figure out the problems themselves.@@allsolartexas

The gentleman said the support team is .... Next To None, .... he should have said .... Second To None. Just saying .... I very much like signature solar and have purchased some of their equipment , one my EG4 6500EX-48 inverters lost the blue cascading led lights, now all I see while in darkness is a faint red glow, does anyone know what might be causing this malfunction before I have to call the technical dept. At Signature Solar? Thanks ....

This company is selling you items for thousands of dollars that you will have no control over, They will force you to spend $500 dollars plus just to round trip freight a battery back to them just to get the correct time installed in it. They will NOT give you the passwords to the batteries BMS that they sold you due to some new changed policy that they decided to follow meaning that you just bought a fancy brick you have no control over. If you are one of those people who don't mind paying a lot of money for something you will not own then so be it. Do what you want. For the majority of people this is NOT ACCEPTABLE in any way shape or form. Their excuse is that it is to protect warranties blah, blah, blah. Mine did not even come with a warranty, it was supposedly a refurb with no warranty past it would work or I could ship it back at my cost, Another $300 minimum to even get part of my money back for a dead item I should have listened to the hundreds of warnings I have seen about this company and their faulty products and horrible customer service rather than listen to a few big name fan boy channels here on youtube. It was bad enough they are twice the cost of anyone else for their batteries at this point. Now you are paying double for an item you are locked out of using. I will do my best to make sure EVERYONE knows you are doing this. I will NOT be scammed by anyone and be silent and yes i said scammer. Sending people items with something as simple as the incorrect time that effects everything in your inverter regarding time and history and then telling them they have to spend multiple hundreds of dollars to send it back just to get the time changed is the definition of a scam. All you had to do was give me a password to an Item I paid you $2000 to fully own. I would have not bought a single penny worth of anything from you if I knew you were retaining control and ownership. And this goes for the EE4 company as well because this policy seems to be because of their rules. Amy youtube creator who deletes this is admitting they are a shill only out to make money from the company regardless of what they do to the viewer, the customer.

I don’t make ANY money off EG4. Some of their products are really good, some are not. Their customer service does stink at the moment but that’s not uncommon with smaller startups that grow too quickly. I wouldn’t call it a scam, but I do admit that they can do better. Thanks for watching!

@@allsolartexas They are notorious for horrible customer service. Sure they are going through growing pains, but from your video they are top notch customer service. They are nowhere near acceptable given overwhelming feedback. Yes I do run their equipment. I pray that nothing goes wrong with my gear. Frankly it makes me question your own integrity in video's.

@@keaomakaranch that’s a fair comment. I haven’t had that experience with them, so I speak only based on my personal experience. I’ve heard about those issues recently from some customers, but I’m hoping they will get better as they learn.

Was going to purchase there 18 K, but the tech support is pretty much nonexistent and if you do get a hold of them they really can’t help you and it’s down hill from there. I’m going Sol-Ark

I kinda jumped the gun there, I really didn’t mean to dog pile on S S , I really wanted it to be a good working product especially with the new 14.3 batteries that work together it just looked like a awesome set up. But after reading a few posts with what I think is growing pains from a brand new product, I’m sure in a year or so it will be on its way and of course techs at S S get the info and knowledge of a to z on this 18K. But for me at this time just about to spend a pile of money I just can’t risk the growing pains that may plague this project, I need relatively trouble free install from start to finish, I’am going to purchase the two 14.3 batteries and 455 watt solar panels 36 of them from S S but for the inverter I’m going with the Sol-Ark 15 I just need a proven quality inverter with a well seasoned technician’s that are there 24/7 Now I think S S will get there some day and good luck to them.
