Do you still believe in law of attraction, to strongly believe in what you want, to imagine it, to feel it. You made a video about it years ago, just wondering if your perspectives have changed on it or if you still find it applicable.

consumptions the cheap dopamine is the hardest thing to take back control from, the video games, social media consumption, cheap quick dopamine, pleasure feelings and etc if one souce of dopamine activity like video games stopped than the other same source paterrn of dopamine would come like social media consumption, if social media consumption stopped than the other source would come way like endless motivational videos, when endless motivation stopped and so on the other cheap dopamine would comr i dont know it is so hard to live without that cheap dopamine, i would like to consume zero cheap dopamine bruh, once i stop the one activoties of cheap dopamine the other cheap dopamine addiction would come

The scariest thing about cheap dopamine is that we are so damn trapped, that we don’t even realise how much we’ve lost our ability to focus, to concentrate and to be present in the moment… it became “normal” and we got used to it. To feel again like the super intelligent species we are, it needs drastic change

I'm on day 4 of a Daniel Fast: abstinence from coffee, alcohol, pot, cigarettes, sugar, processed foods, meat, eggs, dairy...basically I only consume whole foods: vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes, and water. First few days were challenging but now I'm really in the flow and feeling fantastic! My energy is so stable. I'm going for 21 days. I like the simplicity of it all; eliminates decision fatigue. I'm feeling liberated and reset.

I still remember watching your video last year on five essential books we should read once in our lives. For some reason, that video resonated with me. I read the book that you recommended the most in that list. The Unlimited Power. This book changed my life. I used to be a disorganized person. Procrastination was my name and I basically thrived on my compulsive behaviors which I repeated religiously every single day. But, the day I read Unlimited Power... it shattered my compulsions into pieces. It gave me the power to deal with my messed-up life. A year later, I have accomplished so much in my life, it baffles me. I have read many legendary books since I first read The Unlimited Power, but nothing else has impacted me the same. I have now realized that I never lacked skill, intelligence, or competence to achieve my ideal life. What I really lacked was self-belief and consolation that even someone like me is worthy of a fulfilling life. In a way, your video changed my life, and I will always be grateful for that.

For me, the biggest delayed gratification I've been working on for the past 4 years is being present. Let me tell you it's not easy. I've been a maladaptive daydreamer ever since I was very young, and that has always been my cheap dopamine. I've relapsed many times during this 4 year period, but every single time, I've been hit with some awful lows that gave me no choice but to go after the real thing again. And it's completely worth the struggle. Thanks for this video, it's very inspiring.

Good evening, thank you, I'm from the Philippines, and self-improvement has been a part of my life lately, instant gratification really weakens your reputation as a man, it also distributes into a disciplined manner, you become lazy, eaten by lust, and laziness. Practically, if you want to enjoy more about your self-improvement you must enjoy first the pain of discipline, quitting porn, working out, eating healthy, reading books, strong connection with God, and accepting true love, will be achieved. For as long as you enjoy the process, don't quit. Also, maturity doesn't come to any age. We as a man, must take full responsibility but don't forget to be happy.

I'm glad to read this; weed ruined my last relationship, he justified himself saying weed is not addictive but he sat in the couch for 10-12 hours smoking weed and playing videogames then snapped at me because "we never do anything together" even if I suggested going to the movies, etc. Now that I'm typing this I realize that it was not only weed, he was addicted to any instant source of dopamine so the moment I stopped being a source he dumped me.

This addiction is why when we’re watching a video, we can now interrupt that video and watch a “short” and then the original video you’re watching will keep playing. It’s to keep people addicted with our short attention spans and needing more content in a shorter amount of time. It has been working on me and I had just recently noticed what I’m doing. I have been one of those rats. Heroin. It becomes all you do and all you care about and it’s not even rewarding or pleasing after some time but after some time, a very short amount, you NEED it. You forget to eat. You sleep all the time and then not at all. You neglect hygiene, socializing, work performance and productivity. You lose interest in your art, sports, exercise and hobbies. Today for most it’s even worse. Fentanyl. I pray for us all going through it. Even if it’s your iPhone or Instagram feed, sex, meth or food. Even if it’s KZbin!!! You can push past it. It’s helped me to find meaning and purpose again. To focus on OTHERS vs yourself.
