You comment about the San Francisco food being some best anywhere is spot on. I've eaten in Paris, New Orleans, Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Houston. San Antonio, Montreal, Mexico & Singapore. All world class but what do they all have in common? DIVERSITY!!! Yes the blending of some many cultures where they have keep authenticity but picked up techniques, spices and other ideas from a diverse group. It is wonderful.

@nicolemd33 it is probably Hong Kong 🇭🇰. Love the City, love the people and the food is absolutely outstanding. New Orleans is a close second and New York City third. What about you what cities do you love best?

@@algernon5776 I’ve never been to Hong Kong but I’ve heard the food there is incredible! Same with New Orleans! I can agree with you on New York though! So much good food! For me it’s so hard to choose one. I would say Bangalore or Naples. I haven’t been to punjab in India so maybe my answer would change a little depending on that. I like all the vegetarian options in India! If I wanted meat in most of my meals I would definitely say Lahore in Pakistan though. New York would probably be third for me as well because like you said it’s so diverse in cuisine!

You are kidding, right? I’m from El Paso. Moved to Cali a few years ago. San Francisco has 4500 restaurants. Despite what you hear on the news about the city, it has world class eateries. The Mission burrito was created in San Francisco.They are more Mexicans, Italians, and Chinese than in Texas. Texas does beat California in barbecue though, not gonna lie on that fact. I will also give Texas the win on steakhouses. But I give the edge to California on Mexican, Italian, and Chinese cuisines. San Francisco also has one of the best crab restaurants in the continental U.S. New England has better lobster though. She went to el Farolito, which is great…but I prefer La Taqueria a block away. It’s a a Michelin Star rated taqueria. Their burrito dorado of either carne asada or carnitas is da bomb. They don’t serve rice there (just like in authentic burritos in Sonora Mexico). The burritos are much juicer because of the absence of rice (rice absorbs juices). And the beans are whole, not fried. If she’s still in San Francisco, she should try La Taqueria. I do miss Texas at times. Man, I remember when after a night of drinking, we would hit Chico’s Tacos. Man, those little fried rolled up flautas dipped on that awesome sauce, yummy, da bomb, lol.

It is all relative depending on where you are from. I’m also in SanFrancisco and these prices are fairly cheap. The burrito spot by my house is $16 for a burrito. Sandwiches are roughly 16-$18. Even a McDonald’s Big Mac meal is $17xx so.. 🤷🏻‍♂️
