Nice! I guess I just chose the wrong seller! I don’t want to risk it again so I’ll pay a little premium for a set from somewhere else. After I fix the second gear grind this fall / winter.

That sucks I went with eBay ones paid about 300 and they bolted up just fine

That is so f,ing annoying! I just got a new alternator and serpentine belt for my boxster s You definitely need to tell them if it's a tiptronic, with or without aircon etc It's quite important

Any trouble removing the head bolts (at least on the side you removed)? Did you use a wrench or impact? 👍

Surprisingly no trouble removing the head bolts. I used an impact.

My expectations were low so only a couple hours lost! I’ll be trying out the FVD headers in the future. Probably after I fix the second gear grind this winter.

Hey, are those, Bilstein B6s or what struts are you running?

Yeah, they are the Bilstein B6 shocks with H&R springs. I would highly recommend this setup. Great ride comfort and handling.

@@LenartoGarage cool, thanks for response! Been wanting a set of B6, but the front struts are out of stock almost everywhere. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet and pay a premium. Did you get springs just to lower the car or for another reason? I was thinking of keeping stock springs (and ride height) for now

@AB0BA_69 ....Some are bit of a nightmare but as long as you go across at an angle not to bad...But front lower lip skirt does scrape every time...👍
