Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

I did the same a few months ago at Gander. Told my wife I’d be in and out in ten minutes only to spend over an hour when I saw the entire store was 40% off. I ended up dropping about $240 since they were pretty stocked up on Berkley, Rapala, 6th Sense, and some other brands I’d been hoping to get. I feel bad for the staff though since the same store had done a Going Out of Business sale as Gander Mountain. Well once you try fishing a T-1, you will see why the wire works better than others do. I hope you don’t lose it before you find the difference they make. There is a good reason their hard to find, they sell like crazy and don’t stay in stores. Two things I look for on any spinnerbait are ball bearing swivels and gold willow leaf blades. If you want, more T-1s you can scrounge some from other places. Currently they are sold out on Rapala’s website. I have another lure for you to look for that is a sleeper, and is missing from most tackle stores. Booyah Super Shad, this spinnerbait works like a mini umbrella rig. Strike King copied it and calls theirs Strike King George Cochran's Quad Shad. All I know is they work, and big bass eat them up. I started using the Booyah one around 2004. The biggest bass I caught came from slowly reeling it thru deep rock and wood structure. I most often use them around bridge pilings, docks, fishing piers and rocky points. Big bass try to eat the whole little school of blades and sometimes fail to be hooked. Don’t worry if this happens because they may hit it three times, if you don’t pull it away and keep reeling. This tells me there are some big-ees lurking and active. Then I toss a KVD Sexy Shad fluttering spoon to them. Things get real fun very fast sometimes. I don’t use trailer hooks because they bug me and get tangled in the skirt. I don’t use trailers because they slow the fall of the lure and serve no purpose because the bass wants to eat all the little fish in the school. I will use trailer hooks on buzzbaits but put the hook thru the plastic tube I slip over the trailer hooks eye. This keeps the hook pointed up and stops it from tangling in the skirt. However, do what you like best. I use trailer hooks on bass jigs sometimes the same way and they sometimes help on big trailers and big jigs if the fish are just pecking at the jig they get stung by the trailer. As far as good deals the rat is money, if you want a monster frog get some Spro King Daddy models Bass hit them and Muskies shred them, however it is worth the price of seeing a 20-pounder clobber it. Pins minnows little one is money, Rage Toads are loud and move tons of water I use keel weighted hooks. You need to try some Biffle Bugs the small ones. You now have enough new baits to decorate the bottoms of all your local lakes for Christmas, have fun its only money.
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
Hahahaha yes! I can't take money or the lure with me when I pass....may as well give my local lakes some bling! I am excited to try to T-1 spinnerbaits. I was upset because I wanted a backup!

I'm not into the newest kures debuting on youtube but Fidhing midsummer in a smaller lake where 20"+ largemouth were visible, I started handlining come 4-6 inch bluegill from the dock when a run of four of these hogs came through to ambush. I wasn't able to present or place the bluegill well enough but lip or dorsal hooking them on a zman chatter was sinfully easy and the other anglers with my advice were unable to land any with their cheaper chatter or simple jig setups. It triggered amazing aggression like I'll never see again.

The creek chub knuckle head is like the booyah prank. Part swim bait, part walking bait, part popper.
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that thing looks cool. I'm interested to put it on the water!
@ElkRiverBassin5 жыл бұрын
Regarding the Booyah melee, yes I’ve had the same problem with it rolling regardless of what trailer and even without a trailer. Sometimes when it didn’t roll the blade wouldn’t even move. I was super excited when I bought it, but now I hardly use it.

The yo zuri pins minnow are amazing for trout i caught so many in a morning with one yo zuri. Like 12 Brooke trout in an hour.

I'm gonna hit my G.O. just over the border in NE Ohio to see if I can get any last minute things. I’ve already spent a pretty penny since this clearance sale started. It’s really a shame since they just got back on their feet again. I got the Good Sam membership too and I’ve probably gotten more than my my money’s worth but it’s still sad it’s going out again

I kno its a bit late but that 6th sense splashback popper... first time i ever used it i pissed off a 3 pounder right off the bank. Mine is the chrome threadfin color which is like a shad color but it is very good with popping the surface making quite a bit of noise. Very light bait but worth the top water bombs.

I'd like to see some bank jerk baits. Still not sure how that works, the boat guys seem all about it but I feel like I can't get the same action from the bank
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
I'm going to try. The tough part is from the bank you're working against the ground. From a boat you're working with the slope. I've got some shallow divers I want to try in some ponds!

I have a warpig and I love the look of it (ghost crawfish I believe it is) but at least mine absolutely loves to dive... it just dives and keeps diving so it seems like on every cast it will eventually hit bottom and the treble hooks will snap some grass absolutely ruining the movement and vibration of the bait. As I said I love the look of mine but it's just one of those things I find myself cleaning after every cast to remove the grass which is why I don't use it much anymore.

Hi The buzz bait is a great lure. I really like the double hooks. FYI the Rapala is pronounced Rah pa la. It’s made in Sweden. With the pink spinner bait I have had good luck in early spring with pink. I’m interested in changing out my treble hooks to single hooks. I’ve never done this before and would love your opinion on how to do this. I’m not fond of all the hooks even though I always pinch the barbs. No problems with tight lines.
