Thanks for the video. I installed one on my 2004 EZGO. It's a nice looking unit and I love having a speedometer on my cart. If the speed is off, you can adjust the default settings to make it more accurate.

Nice video. Looks like a great speedometer. I like your dash, it looks very clean and well assembled. The only thing I would recommend is to use actual electrical connectors rather than just twisting the wires together with electrical tape and shoving wires in with the spade connectors on your switch panel. Whoever installed the switch panel did a really nice job and it looks professional. I would follow that same level of workmanship to both ensure that wires don't come loose over time and to maintain the quality of work.

Do you have to use the 12v to 5v reducer if you just connect using the USB directly ?

No, you wouldn't need to if you plug it into a USB port.
