Hi, in this video we continue working on the Jeep's hard top, we paint it with Ebay's $59 UreKem 2K urethane KemPhlats semi gloss black paint.

Fantastic results! Nice work. You don’t think it might have been easier just taking it off to paint it in the garage, though? That stereo looks a lot like the stock one, too

Thanks for the compliment. I thought about taking the top off but, the top would not of been dried enough / tacky to put the top back on the jeep, it rained heavy the next day and I couldn't leave the jeep outside without a top. Yea, it's a stock dodge stereo I installed to replace the Jeep CD stereo which developed a broken volume control. The stock radio works for now but, I will upgrade to a aftermarket unit soon.

I'm probably gonna keep it stockish, tint windows & maybe some new 31" tires and rims and that's probably all I'm gonna do t it. I don't plan on selling it, I like this Jeep, will most likely keep it a few years. It's been a fun project so far, a lot more to do but, parts are cheap.

Nice job on the top, looks good. I am currently repairing some minor cracks & chips on a TJ top that I recently bought for cheaply. If you still have this Jeep & top, how has the paint held up? I am looking for a good sorce for paint for mine. BTW, nice Grand National too!

I sold the jeep but, see it once in awhile, paint is holding up good.

Use citristrip. They sell it at Home Depot. I just used it on my top and the bedliner came off super easy

I already painted the both front bumpers & flares, I used truck bed spray and then painted over the flares with a epoxy black paint. everything looks dusty in the video from sanding the top. The front and rear were sanded down and same black epoxy paint as flares... That was the easiest job so far. lol
