@CaidicusProductions5 жыл бұрын
@@SanjayC well, I mean... It's a daw in a box. :P if you have the money for one, I'd highly recommend it. It's basically a musical notepad, 16 hour battery life, can easily be recorded into, and the tracks can be overdubbed infinitely, so it's not actually just limited to 4 sounds per song. It's quite powerful.
@joycesanders48985 жыл бұрын
It really not that overpriced,..for what does..you getting what you pay for.
@paolomoretti92915 жыл бұрын
@@joycesanders4898 You're not. Or, if you prefer, you're getting more than you pay for with a Deluge: it's 2/3 the price and beats the op1 in each and every way (I own both). The op1 is a cool, attractive, fun, expensive TOY with a lot useless stuff (the cow, the elicopter, the radio, etc) and a lot of limitations: no velocity sensitive keyboard, 4 tracks only, ridiculous sample time, MIDI only via pc, no MIDI out tracks, no traditional synth controls. It's a lot of fun to use for a while, but when it comes to making music for real, give me a deluge and I will be faster, I'll control an unlimited number of external instruments, I'll sound better (trust me), I'll sample entire voice tracks and I'll save a lot of money. The only real use I'm finding of the OP1 right now is passing time when I take my dog to the park.

Great list Sanjay! I think I really like the nanokontrol because it would fit so well with my mpk mini when I'm not able to be at home using my launchkey 49. The faders and transport controls would def come in handy! The small size also makes it super portable. I know a lot of worship keys players use it with their keyboard because most midi keyboards with hammer action don't have daw controls like my yamaha p-45. I hope to maybe one day play with a worship team and i know that I would definitely consider using it to control ableton on my laptop! Also, the mic accessories would be very useful because I dont have the budget to acoustically treat my studio. Great video as always Sanjay! Not sure what you're schedule is like, but Taetro is doing Beatober (one beat a day on IG). Not sure if you'd want to get in on that haha, I know you're busy but just thought I'd mention it. I know I can't cuz of my schedule and I don't have IG but I enjoy seeing others be creative because it inspires me to work hard! God bless you and your wife this fall man!
