So what is it going to take to renovate? It needs a new roof, new floors, walls sandblasted and sealed. The outside of the house needs sandblasting and sealed, it needs a garage, a covered deck. New bathrooms, paint where required, totally new kitchen, doors, hot water heater, ac unit, windows, cabinets and closets. A rock or paved driveway, fencing and a total yard renovation. All new electrical wiring and power to the main road. The cost at a minimum is going to run at least €100,000 and let’s not forget all the permits. At a minimum the total cost is hovering around €150,000 with the cost of the property itself. So would it be worth restoring or would it be less of a hassle to take it down and have a builder put up something brand new? I like old and love doing the work myself. It would be a fun project and a great place to retire.

I think your first number is closer than your second and it depends how dirty you get your own hands. Of course you can spend forever but I think I could do it for less than your first quote. With permits. Thank you for your comments and I will try harder with the camera I do have my L plates on.

António Silva O preço da casa é barato tem mais de 1000 m2 de terreno val apena comprar restaurar a casa fazer picisna jardim se for preciso mandar fazer um poço se gastar entre 100 mil a 150 mil euros fica com uma casa nova não esqueçendo que tem terreno para plantar árvores de frutos.Praticamente fica ao preço de um apartamento T2 nas cidades de Portugal não há dinheiro que pague o silêncio nas cidades é só barulhos e poluição,meu sonho é comprar mais tarde uma casa velha nos arredores de Ponte de Lima estou cheio de viver na cidade e no meu apartamento.parabes ao autor deste video,desjo muita sorte para quem comprar esta casa.
