Honestly nowhere is safe now. Not just mobile homes. These tornadoes if strong enough just rip everything apart leaving nothing, but the foundation even if you are in a house.

Stick built isn't even safe anymore. I didn't know that manufactured homes had wind zones. The HUD Wind Zone Rating, introduced in 1994, designates three zones that govern construction of new manufactured homes: HUD Wind Zone 1 = 70 mph fastest wind speed.
