Greetings from WV! I'm wizard93 on the GMF. I noticed you mentioned Potter, I've met him a few times at the meets. I've had the same idea putting one of these superchargers on my red 1994 Metro. I'm wanting to try to get this to work on a stock engine, since the stock injector is also used on the G13 engines and I think the G16 engine, so I'm guessing as long as the fuel pump is healthy, there shouldn't be an issue with fuel starvation. I'm also wanting to mount the supercharger on a modified A/C bracket and use the A/C pulley on the crank, and find a hat that will fit on top of the stock throttle body. I'm also wanting to use an intercooler and set the boost to no more than 10-12 PSI. Just something that will help her pull the WV hills on the interstate, nothing too rowdy.

You will need a custom pulley made for the supercharger the supplied pulley make way to much boost for a reasonable setup there is lots of drive ratio calculators for superchargers

I wonder if a slightly larger supercharger underdriven would do the same without spitting oil.

Yes a larger pulley will run the supercharger slower

1,475 pounds? That's very good! If you can make a lift-off fiberglass hood and rear hatch, I think the weight can be under 1,400. 1,475 lb is pretty light. Lexan or plexiglass sideglass is doable.

Why do you feed the supercharger with a lot of air when you drive with a small gas pedal position? This is a very poor efficiency. You have to put the throttle in front of the positive displacement compressors, it will be fine that way. Like dragsters, you know. Consider my advice.

This is awesome man… I can’t wait to see what’s coming next…😁 I looked that super charger up and it said like 1.6 liter to 2.0 liter. So I guess it’s to small for the 3.0 danger ranger…😕

For a cheap setup look at the Eaton m90 that is found on mid 90's-2008 gm 3800v6's harder to adapt but will work on 3-5L engines

I am getting ready to order my amr 500 and wondered if I can do this in stages. In your opinion could I run the blower with the stock throttle body? Is there enough potential for a stock injector to put out enough fuel. to stuff the extra air through without it running to lean? Or with your experience would I have to underdrive a little for it to keep up on the fuel end.If so any guesses on % of underdriven. Or is it a nogo until i do stand alone ecm for timing changes for boost? And a larger throttle body..Or am I doing things in the wrong order? I really appreciate how fast you have always responded and your willingness to help others. Thank you!!

I would definitely underdrive it, a old school fmu would help with fueling with the stock TBI I'd have to run the math later to figure out the percentage to underdrive it. Definitely add a wideband so you can have a idea if it's rich or lean

what was the size or model of the procharger hat? Was it a direct fit over the TB?

Now that I think about it, its probably a turbo hat that fits your holly sniper you have installed.

Correct, there is nothing available that will fit the OEM TBI but one can be custom made with some effort
