My dad had a tent he bought at surplus from WW2. Slept 6. Thick canvas it was a beast. We used it for family vacation every year and it attracted a lot of admirers.

Flexseal in the spray can will fix the ICS rainfly, sometimes you can find them on the bay in good shape.

My only problem with my Stansport is that the "door" doesn't have a zipper, only the bug mesh does. Soon as I get a zipper put on the doors it'll be about perfect. A can of camp dry makes all the difference as far as the waterproofing. (edit) I also have a USMC Combat 2 person, It's a Much better 3-4 season tent, and for $10 at my local thrift store I had to take it. Good video!

The biggest thing i I would change about the Stansport is who owns it....give it away to someone you don't like. You can get another rainfly for the ics tent. The black liner is primarily for blackout for combat situation. Most milsurp tents cant be beat. For two man try the usmc 2 man combat tent. Or the tcop one man tent. Both are awsome

I got that ics for$50 but bought 3 of them love it down side is head height but it bombproof in a storm
