It’s great! My shed has been completed and it turned out nice looking and sturdy and it is way better than the sheds that many of my neighbors had put up. Of course, I'm pleased with the outcome and this Ryan’s kzbin.infoUgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans was extremely useful to me as a guide.

Some of my favorite videos are when you add metal to the project (like stair, deck, and balcony railings). Having that extra skill really adds the 'custom' to your customer homes.

It's recommended that you use a welding helmet when plasma cutting. The UV rays coming off the plasma arc is similar to welding. Can cause eye damage in the future. I'm a boilermaker/ welder in Australia and it's compulsory to use a welding helmet with a shade 9 or higher when plasma cutting

Two other metal cutting options: 1. Shear. That could range from small hand sheet metal shears up to very large and very expensive plate shears. A nibbler is a special sort of shear too. 2. Oxy-acetylene torch.

as for angle grinder if you dont have one just get a cheap plug in one. porter cable , black and decker , craftsman even metabo (id get the metabo out of them) all under $40. another $20-30 will get you a makita, dewalt , bosch. id go for the makita any day if you're looking at that price range. such good quality tools

For the angle grinder option I can suggest 2 things: 1. Diablo makes a 4.5 inch diamond wheel for about $17 at the orange box store. They cut a thin kerf like the cut off wheel but I have been running one for several months and have done a lot of projects they are cost effective. 2. You tube has a lot of videos showing how people made a mounting table for the angle grinder to clamp stock and imitate the chop saw. Nice square cuts cheap.

I would add that the angle grinder with thin cutting blade are VERY dangerous. Safety glasses alone are not enough. The cutting blades sometimes shatter sending large pieces out at high speed. Even with the safety shroud on the tool attached pieces can bounce off solid objects and come back toward your head. Always ware a full face shield when using this kind of cutting wheel.

Also, if you haven't tried the Diablo steel demon circular saw blades from Home Depot, you definitely need to. Worth every penny, you can cut steel almost as fast as wood. I don't get my grinder off the truck nearly as much as I used to. Thanks for another great video! Y'all are one of the channels I watch with my kids, and they learn a lot from it.

From a fab shop owner's perspective I can say every one has it's place. But we use cold metal cutting saw (i.e. yours Evolution) the most because the benefit of fast clean cut outweights the blade cost. And it can withstand a looot of abuse if you use it correctly. By the way, my plasma cost 300€ two years ago and I use regular 50 litre compressor no problem. 😄 So 5000$ is just far from what can really buy, but on the other hand, you guys in America like to buy expensive Millers and Lincolns for no reason (no, the brand really doesn't matter for plasma cutting). 😁😅 PS: Basic corded angle grinder of quality brand is like 60€ here in Europe.

Just have to tell you, please DON'T use gloves with power tools like grinders, mills, stationary drills and more as if you just barely touch any spinning thing it can easily rip your whole hand, arm or if powerfull kill you. I almost died at school while using a mill and tried to sand lightly and my glove caught and pulled me in but luckily i managed to hold myself back and i ripped 3 fingers off from the glove 😰 One time vinyl gloves is no problem if you need to stay clean and want some chip potection
