Cheap TPMS??? Will it work?!?!?!

Great review and safety net to have We had the same system on our rig however the unit we had was defective it kept saying the tires were too hot and when they got hot the tire pressure alarm would go buzzerk and the tires would magically gain ten pounds of pressure drove us crazy...er....so I would just turn off all alarms and watch to see if they would drop below a certain mark....still worth it for that reason.. next RV will have a upgrade and possibly the new anti-blowout rims pricey but rig and others around me are worth it... Sorry I didn't remember the name before.... Rettroband tire saver it is a solid core in the rim that allows you to be able control your vehicle when a blowout occurs it won't save the tire but allows you to maintain control of your vehicle they are pricey but you're gonna be around to talk about it Thanks again

I turned off the monitor once I had it configured but now does not sense the tire info. Must I remove the sensors every time I turn off the monitor?

Interesting...I turn my monitor off and do not remove the sensors and it connects to them all the next time.

I even changed the batteries just because the system was new to me and came with the trailer. I will get it figured out.

@@lindalarsen2157 Typically you have to drive the vehicle a few miles to wake up the sensors on the wheels to get a reading,some are saying they just wiggle the sensors to wake them up and that's enough to get a reading . Remember when the vehicle is sitting for more than 15 minutes or so the sensors on the wheels turn off,this is for power consumption,Hope this helps.

Still recommend it? My car is 14yo and one sensor has a dead battery. Because it's older, the idiot light just tells me low pressure. I can buy one for $60 and have a shop install it for more money. Apparently, special tools or software are required to pair it with the car computer. At 14yo, the other batteries are probably near end of life as well.

I do still recommend it! Mine has been working great with no issues so far.
