Great info & video! Like the Tireminder screen, nice 1 screen glance... that is a plus over the rotating TST screen... although if sensor issue Temp or PSI both bring that tire to attention. The TST new larger screen is pricey on top, although I like the TST expanded Temp settings and Low/High PSI settings. I've noticed others setup sensors at table, label each.. then sets up quick at the tires. Haven't used or purchased either yet, but will likely go with 770 TST unit.

TST 770 is the best out now, easiest setup in market and best interface no doubt.

Now that they’ve added Apple CarPlay, will that work with your unit or do you have to purchase that Bluetooth module?

My solitude came with a different brand but we had tireminder and switched back to our system. Love tireminder.

I'm glad you were able to switch back to Tireminder 😊

Thanks great video. We had a different system for our trailer we got a little over 5 years ago. Now we have a class A pulling a jeep and wanted to see who everyone is recommending now and several people have been recommending Tire minder. So overall how has it been working for you now?

The monitoring system our Solitude came with drove me batty beeping all the time - we’d pull over everything would be fine. So glad we had our Tire Minder system from our old rig to go back to. Love Tire Minder. I hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas 🎅🏻

I have tried them all and I keep going back to the minder research company easy to read screen in the sunlight and I can see all the tires at one time.

That’s one of the reasons we like it too.

Hello, we are getting ready to purchase a different TMPS. After a year do you still like the TireMinder? Thanks in advance. Mary 💞 Fred

I love my Tireminder products. I installed the I10 in my Chevy Cobalt… it’s a little overkill but it works.

I don't think it's overkill. Can't be too careful 😊

Good one, I have the tireminder unit for my TOAD. I hotwired the transmitter antenna inside the engine compartment of the Jeep with a switch inside the Jeep. Works well with my 43 Ft Diesel Motorhome. No loss of connections. Easy install.❤ I don’t lock the sensors. I remove them after a trip.

Good setup! The loss of connection is always a concern... Sounds like you fixed that 😊

I like that you can see all your tires at once. Do you have the sensors on your truck also?
@1StrangeAdventure Жыл бұрын
We do not... We use the factory sensors on those

We are running the TST on our rig. We did order the new updated touch screen they just came out with a couple weeks ago. Hopefully more user friendly then the old screen version. Hope that low tire you had didn't turn into an issue. Merry Christmas!!

Question, do people ever put a sensor on the spare tires?
@1StrangeAdventure Жыл бұрын
Yes! A lot of people do this so they don’t get stuck with a flat when they need the spare.
@robh063 Жыл бұрын
I'm a little confused. You recommend the Tireminder over the TST because of the ease of installation? What about having to take your eyes off the road and hand off the wheel to manually change the screen to see the tire temperatures and then switch the screen back manually to see the tire pressures again? Don't you find that to be inconvenient and a safety issue?

I have a competitor product: problem is, I lost the whole wheel off my trailer and the tpms did NOT alert us. The car behind us told us we lost a wheel. How does this one handle that?
@1StrangeAdventure Жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry that happened to you! I'm sure that was a scary situation!!! Unfortunately I don't think any of them alert you when the wheel comes off. It only monitors the pressure and temp of the tire itself. With the wheel coming off the tire is still intact so nothing gets noticed.

You’d think for a connection/signal you wouldn’t want to loss running down the road, they would have a connection better than gator clips. Susceptible to coming loose from vibrations. If I made this purchase, my anal retentive self would have to change that. I’m assuming they didn’t include connection hardware.
@itsallaboutshelby Жыл бұрын
Something that would be helpful would be feedback on how accurate the pressures were compared to a trusted gauge. Sensors that don’t display proper pressures or inconsistent pressure would be a fail. Everyone loves making these type videos but it seems they are more about moving products.
