I just subscribed today. Frankly, watching you do work on your bike has been refreshing. I'm not around any young men who try to work on anything anymore. I'm an old fart who thinks you have a "can-do" attitude. Good job.

hey thanks! I try to do every thing my self. got another how too vid coming in a few minutes

I remember that feeling when I put the same pegs on my DR650. I figured 'cause the pegs are wider it put the front edge of the peg closer to the shifter and brake, making the pivot point for my boots farther forward. I got used to it after the first ride too. The great thing about these, beside the price, is that they're more comfortable to stand up on for longer periods of time than the stock ones. Keep up the great work.
@TDubsKid7 жыл бұрын
yeah it was odd how fast I got use to them. that's for sure I stand up a lot when riding. I also noticed they are nice for road riding too because you can spread your legs to the side more just makes it a bit more comfortable than squeazed up next to the bike. thanks!

@XV2503 жыл бұрын
I ordered a pair and just finished putting them on my TW. Except for fussing with the right-foot spring, it was pretty easy to install them. It's raining so I'll wait until tomorrow to go for a test ride.

yeah the wider pegs make this bike sooo much better. thanks for watching! over 16,000 miles now

Great video, just make sure to buy some good quality STEEL pegs if you do hard off road riding! I had 2 sets of cheap eBay aluminum pegs that all snapped when falling on rocky terrain, leaving sharp edges near my ankles.
@TDubsKid2 жыл бұрын
For sure! These are the low quality steel ones, had these same ones on for years, no problems dropping on rocks and stuff, might have gotten a good set, I have heard they can break on people. I would rather them break than crack my frame though

Bigger pegs makes a big difference I use the wide swivel pegs .With my bad knees and back I feel less fatigue.And stress on my knees. I hope they have been working for you.'''RIDE ON""
@TDubsKid7 жыл бұрын
true that so glad I put these one, I love those swivel pegs they are pretty pricey but I may get them someday, I found having only the balls of your feet on the peg so the heel and ankle can pivot up and down takes a lot of stress off my knees, thanks!

@TDubsKid4 жыл бұрын
great same ones years later, bashed on plenty of rocks
@MarylandWearAndCarry7 жыл бұрын
Well one things for sure they don't leave a krator in your wallet. Hopefully they don't explode on impact and leave a krator in yo shin. Thanks for the install vid looking 4wrd to see how they hold up.
@TDubsKid7 жыл бұрын
hahahahaha best comment ever! no problem, I will let you guys know
@MarylandWearAndCarry7 жыл бұрын
Nice! They look solid enough but the whole cast metal is kinda sketch. The prices people want for the better aftermarket pegs are more than I'd shell out. I dont think I'd pay more than $50 bucks for a set. I don't care if their space age, aircraft grade, and Chuck Norris approved.
