I just made the pot pie, and I added Gardein chicken strips, cut, and since I didn't have sage, I used a 1/4 tsp of thyme. Ahhh, it's cooking right now, and I am so excited! I also like the curry recipe, as I made that one last week. All delicious! Thanks for simple and delicious recipes!!! I love your channel, it's so chill and laidback, and makes me feel better since Ive been going through a horrible time!!

Hey Liv! Have you ever tried Aldi? They have organic produce for good prices, they also scored up with whole foods and trader joes for quilty of produce! They also have a vegan food line that I have not tried. Dave Ramsey says going meatless two times a week will save money, so that is what we are doing! Ps all your meals looks so yummy!

Japan! Because I'm a huge nerd and their food is amazing. And they're very hospitable so asking them to make slight changes for your meal at inn's etc is relatively easy. Sharlainjapan is vegan and she has a lot of traveling videos where you can see that they make vegan meals for her when she asks. And it all looks delicious!

I tried the pot pie yesterday and the curry today. The curry was my favorite, it was so flavorful! For veggies I used carrots, potatoes, yellow bell pepper, yellow onion, snap peas, and spinach (because that's what I had on hand). And I did add about a tablespoon of coconut sugar at the end. Served it over basmati rice. I'll definitely be making it a regular part of our meal rotation, it was so quick and simple to make! The pot pie was good too, though I found it a bit bland at the end. Once I sprinkled it with salt and pepper though, it tasted good. I was very impressed with the biscuits - they turned out very similar to non-vegan biscuits.

Hey liv, also, I found this trick from Thug Kitchen for how to make your own super easy veggie broth. So, as you cook meals, get a freezer ziplock bag and put all your veggie scraps in it and save them up until the bag is like half full, then boil 9 cups of water with about 5 cups of scraps for one hour with a tsp of salt and BAM, easy veggie broth. I don't spend money on broth anymore. Sometimes if my scraps are lacking in variety, I add a spoon of tomato paste and sometimes a bay leaf. It's PERFECT! Let us know if you try it.

Great video! I loved all the recipes. You made a comment which made me realize how ridiculous people are. "Don't make any chewing noises otherwise people will get mad." And to be honest, that happens a lot and I've seen it with my own eyes. Some people are really ridiculous. You can't expect a video to be perfect and a person to chew perfect. Some people make chewing noises. Live with it. God knows people put up with your flaws so put up with others.

I think the dough is not cooked from the inside, because it's extremely thick, I suggest replacing this with bread crumbs or smashed potatoes to give the dish the shepherd's pie look ! Or reducing the size of the biscuits to insure that they are cooked well :/ however, cool recipes thanks Olivia 🙆🏻❤

Northern CA, Canada/BC, Winnipeg, Toronto. Egypt, Dubai, Tokyo. BTW I like your vegan ideas. I try and spend as little as possible on food, and eating vegan can be expensive, can be cheap. I try not to purchase pre-made ingredients, so more time in the kitchen.

I know you probably don't want to go because they sell a lot of meat there, but gateway in Dartmouth sells produce extremely cheap and very fresh. you can get a head of cauliflower for like $.50 and avocados are usually $.27 each. celery is under a dollar and so is a bag of spinach. all the produce is super cheap. I go and just avoid the meat.
