I'm glad you hated Smirnoff vodka. I hate it too. Skol is fantastic. I should say that, I compare drinks, strictly based on how they taste straight. Once you mix a liquor with a drink, it's PROBABLY possible that a bad tasting one MAY taste better than a good tasting one.

@@bermudav3348 vodka has taste, just like different bottled water has different tastes. What they ferment and what water they use, has an impact on the taste. Try Gray Goose, then try Skol. I don't like Skyy vodka, Smirnoff vodka, Gilby's Vodka. I used to think all vodka was the same, but it's not. Just because you distill something, doesn't mean that it removes every single trace of everything except for the alcohol molecule. You may not notice the difference unless you keep drinking the same vodka many times in a row and then you switch to another brand then you will notice the difference especially if then you go back and you taste the stuff you have been drinking. You have to try and taste the difference, like wine tasting. If you just pour a cup of vodka and slam it down and one to two seconds you probably won't notice any difference. It's the same with bottled water. If you drink a reverse osmosis purified water without minerals added and then you switch to something like spring water then the spring water will actually taste foul and be difficult to drink.

@@FusionDeveloper and before you tell me I'm wrong I highly suggest you read the article I linked and do like 5 minutes of research on Google or wherever you choose in the process to make vodka. Also one key not I should include just cuz it's interesting. The only reason they get vodka to 96 percent ethanol instead of 100 percent ethanol when they cut it is because 100 percent ethanol will start bonding with water molecules in air and start evaporating until its at 96 percent.

Skol (blue) 100 proof with Orange Soda pop on ice isnt terrible. I've drank some cheap stuff, worse for me was boons farm wine .. worse hangover after 3 bottles. You can mix cheap stuff and make it better, or have Cheap Whiskey on the Rocks and be fine. Alchohol isn't terrible

If you buy your liquor in 50 ML bottles it is not "cheap." Even UV at 99 Cents would cost $14.85 for a 750 ML Fifth. Whereas, a Fifth of UV at Total Wine & More is only $8.99.

Bring on the whiskey video! I'm a rum, whiskey, and beer drinker. Vodka is nasty to me, it's all rubbing alcohol, it's only good in mixed drinks. And at least you guys didn't get Burnett's or Aristocrat, they taste like death

I used to make the mistake of drinking deep eddy straight and was like ugh every time I drank it, I realized it was supposed to be mixed 50% with water, tasted much better after that, it even said so on the back of the bottle

I do not like the background music, especially with the clapping. It irritates me. Even if I liked the music, it's way too loud. It should never be 50% music 50% talking. Next time try like 5%-25% music and 75%-95% talking volume. It should be a background thing, not a competition to see who can be the loudest, the music or the talking. Just my own personal advice. Maybe you've refined your skills since then. . I still gave you a thumbs up, for saying SKOL is better than Smirnoff. . If I hadn't tried them both and saw both in the store, I would buy Smirnoff and never try SKOAL. Smirnoff has commercials and alcoholic beverages you can buy and looks like quality, while SKOL looks like a cheap dollar-store brand liquor. However, SKOL tastes and smells premium, while Smirnoff is nasty like rubbing alcohol and like drinking fire that burns like lava in a very bad way. . I tried Gilbey's and hated it, Smirnoff and hated it. I wanted some cheap vodka of another brand that I could maybe drink and use as ethanol for cleaning stuff. I was very impressed with SKOL to the point it is my favorite vodka so far. Grey Goose is good too for a soft feeling vodka, but the added softness makes it harder to drink and more along the lines of a whiskey that you would sip to appreciate the complexity.
