Huion as a brand is really excelent price/performance. While I used it mainly for photo retouching, so nowhere close to drawing/painting, I've heard for many people they were never let down for the price they paid for particular models.

After years of doing digital art on a small wacom tablet I managed to get myself a used wacom screen tablet 13HD for less than half of its original price and it's still in good condition.

Hi, so would you say it is worth it? As far as I can say I have to agree with Grant that sculpting on a small tablet is no problem, drawing instead brings me to my limits and challenges me much more than pen and paper 🤔

@@jackmakmorn I think it's more of a personal preference, you can achieve the same quality of work on either types but I prefer screen tablets as I can use it as a double screen and be able to directly work on the screen like I would on regular paper.

If you really want to be able to work on screen then go for it, but do remember that screen tablets are very expensive compared to regular ones especially those from wacom so if you really just need a second monitor and don't care about drawing on screen then it would be a lot cheaper to get a monitor instead. But in the end it's totally up to you 😊😊

Just yesterday I bought my very first tablet ever (a Wacom Intuos S). I dabble with Blender from time to time and plan to experiment with using the tablet for texture painting & sculpting, however admittedly I mostly bought this to get into some pixel art using Aseprite. :-)

my daughter had been using UGEE M708 for some years now and love it, still functioning well but now wants to buy a second one for a student. dont know where she got an answer to a search that says only 25USD and 76 shipping for the tablet 2wks ago but now i can only find $50USD tablets, this video sort of confirms it..

I am not a power user. I use a my sister's Samsung tab s7 as graphic tablet because it's screen has higher refresh rate, so no pointer delay. Gets my job done.

not much to say really its a good tablet at a cheap price and i can recommend it . The problem i often have is how well they do over time which my reviews cant cover

ive had this exact tablet for a few years now and the most recent windows update has made it basically impossible to use with a dual monitor set up. despite being set to use only one monitor, it decides seemingly at random to switch between using one and both monitors, sometimes causing the cursor to appear in two places at once. So, fair warning to anyone who buys one now.

often a driver issue so worth looking into otherwise just send it back. It's quite an old tablet now so tricky to say whether it will be as compatible with more modern hardware

Makes your hand guide over the tablet more easily but generally not necessary for normal pen tablets

This looks nice but for 50 bucks they should at the very least put a dial on the thing. You said that you have a non wacom tablet with a screen that you like, which one? Ive been thinking of getting one eventually, ive started doing more than just 3D work (Krita, mostly to test color concepts for dinosaurs i make in blender before finishing/starting the model) and have found that having a screen for regular drawing wouldn't be bad at all, and might be nice for sculpting/texture painting too. Still loving this A15 pro but can still see the benefits of having a screen for some things
