In this video I wanted to talk about this small yet powerful cheap watercolor set from Sennelier called Aqua Mini which is Artist grade. I have also shown some stop motion animation to put some interest in the unboxing part. Usually unboxing + review has always been an interest to me and this why I wanted to make a video on my own.

They are about £24 in the UK, I thought because they were so cheap they were student grade, I've gone to buy them loads of times but will now. New sub here loved the video and the musiv!!!

I just don’t understand why they’d put two greens in this tiny set. When will paint manufacturers learn to do decent palettes argh. I would buy this if it didn’t have two greens. A magenta would be so much more useful.

This honestly feels like a botanical set but then again there is no carmine or magenta which is absolutely essential for a botanical. Otherwise them selecting the absolute brightest shades (look at the blues) of one of the most bright range suggest it is a botanical.

To day, the 30. of september 2023: Mastro !: Yes ! I am so glad you mean this is an artist grade. I bought just this set - just to try watercolors with honey in the binder! Did yoy mentioned that? Well it is low priced , bought it for 260 NOK this summer. And that is cheap. Even for me. And the box is not plastic . The drawback must be that the colours is not in a "pan" so if you run out for one of the colors yoy are not able to replace it, you must fill it up from a tube . But I cannot see it will happen ! You rather replace the whole set if the price stand in this cheap condition. I like your Unboxing very much, as I love your paintings and the videos showing us who you rapidly make the paintings. Thank you !

Your review had me ordering this. I own a Winsor & Newton Cotmam set that I paid... for about the same price. I understand Sennelier is a little more high quality paint. Maybe someday I'll actually buy a bigger size set, but for now I feel like this is definitely worth! Thank you!

I have it but I don't like it. I'd prefer an extra cool red and warm yellow instead of the 2 greens that are easily mixable.

this was a very helpful video!! i just wish that there was a red in the set. orange can be easily made by mixing red and yellow but that's not the case with red. it's a primary colour.

Niaz Hannan Watercolors, depending on where people are Sennelier also does a couple of sample sets, I think one has five colours and the other has six. Both very good value. I could not at the time afford a full set of Sennelier artists pans so had both these sets separately. One is tubes, the other half pans. Even with one of these you get the basis for starting a collection, and if you have an altoids tin then it’s an even cheaper alternative. I would not use that tin for a puddle, btw! The lid just looks a pain to use. And cleaning it looks a pain too! But the paints look as good as you get without progressing to something far more expensive.
